I think the mountain colony because unlike the other two, there won't be as many territorial clashes because it is on the top! Plus it's BLUE!!! Shrinking away now....

Mossie is a non-marriageable NPC in Mystic Colony ^-^

I'm personally in the mystic colony, but my reputation with the mountain domain is 89%, so I have access to their services. Their hunting grounds are really good, I've caught 1 catfish and 3 bluejays over the course of 2 seasons there. The shopkeeper sells great items, and the cats have very interesting personalities.

I like Mystic because there’s a lot of fish just near by and Catfish spawn in the swamps too. I mostly do battles and there’s a bunch of Snake Lilies. It also close to the beach and Prairie Mine. Mountain is good too because there’s a lot of lavender up there. And a lot of rabbits.

I agree with the fact that lavender is very important. Can easily claim every piece of land with enough of it.

I love The Mountain Domain At first I was a little reduntant to try it because they were portrayed as territorial and aggresive But then... I just fit right in! It feels like home now! Imo it looks better than the Mystic and Forest colonies, the waterfall is really cool as well. I also like having the colony flag right next to my den. It is all very cool and nice looking, almost regal in a way.

I choose mountain!
Best mate options(my opinion), and I like the position+layout of the territory and camp.

Hmm, they all have their pros and cons, but I personally prefer Mountain, because of the area. Mountain Domain- I really like the waterfall and all the nearby rivers. The first cat I made was in the Mountain Domain and was really good at swimming, so the rivers made travel much easier. There's also a bunch of ice to slide around on during winter! There's also a lot of other unique areas around them, like the Graveyard or Cairn Grove. Although, their camp is pretty far away from places like the beach, which can get annoying, and I personally didn't like the Mountain NPCs quite as much as I liked the others. I also didn't really like how they have a reputation for being somewhat obsessed with battles and territory. But you can catch a lot of rabbits and find quite a bit of lavender near them, so that's always nice. Mystic Colony- I liked their NPCs the best. I also think Mystic had the best shop, because it sells turtle shells and conchs, plus the Beaky. Their territory has plenty of water, so you can find a lot of fish as well as frogs. The area doesn't really stand out to me as "beautiful", but I do like the Weepingroot, and the flowers that appear around the dens in spring. I couldn't find herbs as well in their area, but the Snake Lily can be found in their territory, so that's good, I guess. Some of their cats are honestly pretty weird or unusual, but that's why I like them! (You can tell I'm talking about Krampy haha) Forest Colony- I don't have much to say about this one. Average hunting, shop, and foraging. The NPCs are pretty good, and I particularly like Scout, Mayor, Sarge, and Ember. The territory is mostly just basic forest, although I do like how the outside of your den looks, and the Fallen Giant. I like its position, too; not too far from the ocean, the temple, or other colonies. They seem to be known as good, friendly cats, which I like. (Also please excuse me using the word "like" too much, it's late and I can't think of any other words )

I've only done Forest so far, as it's my first playthrough. So, I'm biased right now. I will say all 3 do look interesting.

Personally, I like to choose the Mystic Colony. I always loved the swamp, since it is rather diffrente from most other inviorments, expecially in video games, due to the often times out of place plants and animals considering the rest of the map. You can also see this in Cattails, through Snakelilies in the Swamp territory, which is really useful and a bit harder to get if you are from a diffrente colony. It is also probably more interesting through the strange characters present. The doctor, Krampy is based on the most hilarious era in medical history, when people believed in the four humours and bleeding, and through this already seems more interesting than the other doctors, there is also Oracle, whose weather prediction might not be the most useful, but make her stand out from the crowd. These are just the most notable out of all the cats in the colony, but tre honestly isn't a single cat that seems boring, or bland in the beginning, like Mayor or Missy.
