I like all of the colonies and they all have their own benefits. Delta from Mountain colony sells lavender, which is VERY useful. The cats of Mystic are probably my favorite, they're just so cool. Plus, I love the stump dens. Forest colony just feels... natural. I went with Forest first, but I plan on making a cat for each colony.
My 1st cat (in my avatar) is a Forest colony cat
I have a white-ish cat named Moonrise who's just started out in Mystic, and is probably going to romance Alisa
and I haven't made the Mountain cat, but they're likely going to be a calico of sorts.

I'd have to say Mountain is the best, the territory is so pretty in spring and summer and you can find tons of mice, birds and black hares.

I started in Mountain and moved to Forest because I hated the mountain area. Forest is cute and open, easy to navigate. Mystic would be nice but the characters there make me cringe.

Most characters make me cringe. I only like Scout, Lyrus, and maybe Arthur. That is all.

Because I don't like them... mostly because Krampy puts slugs on people. I have had that happen to me in real life, and ot was not a pleasant experience.

I would probably think mystic colony, since every cat is exsquisite (idk the spelling, don't judge me) and extrodinary. The area is open and some of the easiest prey to kill is mice and toads, since if you miss a toad, they are very slow and easy to run up to and kill, even without sprint. Mystic has no bumpy mountains that make you change direction, and in forest colony I bump into the trees a lot!

Mystic is the best colony in my opinion, I started the game thinking everyone is marriageable and tried for Krampy but got rejected. Ghost lived in Mountain for a bit but it just wasn't the same, she had her friendship with Nil at about 4 stars when she left so I had her come back and marry him after awhile. I almost had her marry Alisa because she is pretty cool as well but how could I pass up a silver tabby with horns?
The wetlands just feel right to me. Mountain is second favorite with forest as least.

The forest colony has to be my favourite! It has a friendly community and plus its has everything! Rivers, Beaches, And plenty of herbs!

Mountain domain all the way! awesome hunting sites and equally incredible cats! Plus, LEO IS SO HANDSOME! SO IS ARTHUR! Mountain has the prettiest cats.
