Ravenfang stopped as he was pulled back by Wrenflight, frownig at how little there really was in thw camp. He silently cursed the scarcity that seemed to be going around all of their clans despite only just departing from the warmer seasons.
Resigning to how little there was, he took it and hurried back to Redsky, pressing the cobweb against what remained of the wounds, holding it down as he was afraid it would not stick if he left it be.
Leafpaw hissed quietly as Applepaw interrupted them, not leaving space for the Shadowclan cat to speak for himself. "You're going to freeze to death for Starclan's sake. We don't have anything to dry your off."

The deputy stared in shock as Ravenfang was trying to cover the wound and keep them from bleeding anymore. The fur around her neck was drench in the blood. He had never seen her look this fragile. Shaking himself out of his shocked state he closed the distance slowly making his way closer. He let a breath he didn’t know where he was holding until he saw the smallest movement from her, showing she was clinging on to life still. He inched in closer, squeezing between the two Windclan cats. “What happened?” He hissed over the noises of the storm, his voice urgent and desperate for answers.
Wrenflight had gone back to the medicine cat den grabbing anything that could possibly help. There was almost nothing left in the herb stores at this point, most of it probably picked clean by the Shadowclan scum. She grabbed what she could hoping at least one them would be able to at least keep the wound from getting infected or something. She didn’t slow down until he was in front of Redsky again. She crouched down to sniff at the she-cat’s gapping wound the herbs still hanging in her mouth. She nudged Otterfur out of the way to get a better look at it, hardly acknowledging the tom’s arrival. She muttered lowly to herself trying to jog her memory a little.
Redsky’s side twitched the slightest bit as Ravenfang pressed the cobwebs down hard on her wounds. Her eyes opened wider this time seeming to come back into focus. A loud cough shuddered her whole body.
Applepaw took the hiss as a sign that he was annoying Leafpaw now. He deflated at the thought, that was exactly what he didn’t meant to do. Flattening his ears back a little he awkwardly stepped away. “It’s warmer in the middle of the den.” The smaller apprentince mumbled as he slunk back to give the two of them more space. He probably should have kept his mouth shut. Applepaw moved to the far side of the den leaving the two of them alone.

Lavenderfur was shaken heavily by the seeming death of the warrior he had chosen not to help; for her to come back after that should of been joyful and relieving, but the warrior just felt a mix of confusion and disorientation. How had she come back? She had lost so mich blood...
Ravenfang pulled in a sharp breath as her eyes opened more, and he kept his paws pressed on the cobwebs to keep them in place. He, essentially, would have to do this until no more blood woad coming out of that large wound. "Otterfur," he murmured, "make certain no one gets to us," He knew every second here was vital. "Redsky...your son is waiting for you to come back. To tell him you can return here together." It was a soft plea to the warrior.
Leafpaw heard and could see the tonal shift in Applepaw, and she felt a spike of annoyance in her pelt as she realized she had deflated him despite not speaking directly at him. It took everything to not give herself a facepaw, feeling bad for shutting down Applepaw and not quite angry, but frustrated with the Shadowclan tom-cat who insisted on not looking out for his own health.

It was a miracle she had survived this long and with all of the blood loss. She was lucky to even be alive, despite how weak she was she was alive after seemingly being dead or very close to it for several moments. A voice broke through the murky cloud that was covering her mind. Applepaw... That’s right, her kit was waiting anxiously for her to come back to him and bring him home. Swallowing thickly she smiled wistfully in the direction of the blurry shape she thought the voice was coming from. A sign she was planning on making it back to her son. Her eyes slowly lulled closed again. She would see him soon but, she felt too tired right now to keep her eyes open.
Otterfur frowned a little reluctantly he ripped his eyes away from Redsky to address the Windclan deputy. He wasn’t always keen on having the other deputy telling him what to do. Now, though he was willing to do just about anything to keep Redsky safe. With a slow nod he turned away unsheathing his claws. He went to stand guard and keep his eyes on the battling cats. It was already starting to come to the end. He tried to keep his mind off of his clanmate thinking of the success of the battle overall. It would be over soon. The victory wouldn’t feel the same however, if Redsky wasn’t alongside him. Shifting his weight uneasily, he doubted he would be able to go forwards without her help as selfish as that might seem.
Applepaw was watching the older cats out of the corner of his eyes. Slowly licking his paws he completely shut up now. Crouching down low to the ground he curled up. He didn’t want to tell Leafpaw that she was starting to remind him of how Mousepaw had yelled at him when he was out in the storm. Slumping down a little he looked away from the older cats. He wanted everyone to come back so, that everyone would get along again. That’s what he hoped at least.

Lavenderfur flinched away, having to take his eyes away from the she-cat as she danced in between living an dying as death tried to steal her paw and pull her away. What Ravenfang had said had only made this all worse; he chose to abandon the mother of a kit. He pictured his own Cinderkit and Ebonykit, asking where he was if he died in this battle. That's what he had thrust Redsky into because of his choice.Shadowpaw was standing with the 'deer in the monsterlights' look upon his face, whilst drops of rain were dripping down onto the floor of the den. Leafpaw didn't seem angry persay, but he could tell that she didn't like that he had been out there so long. She must not have seen him before; with her snapping at him now she probably would of said something to him had she.Leafpaw gave a loud sigh. "Come on. Come get warmed up," She murmured with a slight shake of her head. "Ravenfang will have my neck if we've done all of this against Nightstar and then you die from too much cold..." She muttered. "Try to shake off a little without...drenching Applepaw or I." She frowned as she looked around the small den, biting her lip and sighing again, more annoyed this time. "Never mind. Don't do that. Just. I don't know...roll on the ground or something." It was a somewhat ridiculous suggestion, but she sounded serious. Shadowpaw wasn't in a mindset to be headstrong, so with semi-wide eyes, he obediently got down onto the floor of the den outside of the nests, and began rolling on the ground in an attempt to get some of this rain off of his pelt. He had...limited success doing this, and when he rose, all that had stopped was the constant dripping of his pelt. And...the floor had become wet.Leafpaw stared at him as she watched him roll around on the ground, realizing how silly of an idea it had been. Her cheeks going a little bit red, she averted her eyes and settled down in a nest, not saying anything else.
In a dark place, the unnamed tom sat alone, currently in a displeased state. His jaw set hard, his eyebrows narrow, his posture large and tall, he awaited to sense the sleep of Mousepaw. The mouse-brain had completely left himself in a position alienated and scrutinizable from his clanmate. His unprovoked aggression was apt to leave the she-cat he wanted completely at odds with him. Apparently, I overestimated him. Gave him too much, and too fast. Oh well.
-----
"Something strange is going on," A voice rasped in anger from a group of gathered, starry cats. "There are more traces of interference in the lives of the clan cats than in generations. Since the likes of...Yellowfang, and The Three. This cannot be permitted, no matter the circumstances!" A raging debate had been electrically passing through the ranks of Starclan the past moons. Despite the fears of some cats, there were those who feared the threat of Nightstar move beyond the realm of one generation of cats' lives; that his threat and his betrayals of the Warrior Code were beyond that, and worth addressing.
Firestar was one such cat. He had cautioned Dawnstar against the various interventions that she had been making, but it wasn't because of personally being against it. It had been because she was just murdered, and the older ranks of Starclan could easily declare that as a new entry to their ranks, she was abusing her power of transcendence. This is the unfortunate circumstance of the power we have. There will...always exist those who use their age and power to shut down others.
Because of this, he had to choose his next words carefully, for fear of exposing or implying he knew where most of this was occurring. "Leopardstar..." Firestar pulled in a deep breath. "Which law of the Warrior Code has Nightstar not broken? Defend your clan? Don't attack cats at a Gathering?" He was unable to hold back a bit of a disgusted scoff, which somewhat betrayed how he felt under his diplomatic speech regarding the other cat's statement. He let the words hang in the air for a pointed affect, before resuming his speech. "Nightstar lives his life against the Warrior Code, fabricates his own for his own personal gain and has taken over another clan because he isn't content with the confines of his own clan. When will we say that this has become enough? When three of the four leaders of the clans have been murdered? Four? You allowed the birth of this cat and through that you accepted responsibility for every action he would take. Now, every moment that you allow him to take more lives is more blood on your paws, for the sake of being able to claim righteous apathy."
He looked around at the gathered cats, his face stern as he viewed the reactions of everyone. One warm smile flashed back at him, and though he couldn't return it for the sake of his demeanor, it always helped to know Bluestar was with him. "I can't claim that our necessary path is to intervene so far as to end the life of Nightstar. Such a path is an overreach of the paw of Starclan. But the clans deserve to know that we are at their sides, and they deserve the wisdom of our years, especially when they are losing so many of the precious cats around them." His eyes slowly trailed to the recently arrived Riverclan leader.

Redsky could feel herself slipping back into darkness. She wondered vaguely if she would see her mate again. She just wanted to see him again. It was tiring to keep herself awake. Even the pain had numbed almost entirely from her body. The bleeding from her other wounds had almost stopped entirely after Ravenfang had held pressure on it. It was an enticing thought to just sleep and see Shadestar again. But, she could see Applepaw’s face after he realized Shadestar hadn’t made it out of camp, she couldn’t do that to him again. She managed to open her eyes open a little, breathing heavily as she did so.
Hazelrunner had been keeping an eye on Dogclaw through all of this. Her eyes anxiously flickered over towards the gathering of cats. At least Dogclaw had the advantage of being sheltered from the storm. They were still both in trouble until they could get a medicine cat here. Biting her bottom lip she looked around. There weren’t many cats left on this side of the camp. Most of the battle had moved to one side of camp and was already lightening up as more of the Shadowclan cats fled the camp to throw themselves at the mercy of the rushing river. Taking in a deep breath she left Dogclaw’s to make her way to Lavenderfur.
She walked past Redsky, it was sobering to see the she-cat laying in the mud seemingly on the brink of death. She scrambled up towards Lavenderfur. “I am going to fo for a medicine cat. They need help.” She mewed her eyes flickering between the two cats. There was no way for them to move them all the way back to Windclan camp. It was the only thing she could think to do for them now.
Applepaw had to sit himself up as quickly as possible moving his tail aside so it didn’t get wet as Shadowpaw got up from rolling on the floor. Now the floor of the den was wet. That might not have been the best way to get dry. Still, Applepaw smiled to himself remembering when he had come back from his first swimming lesson yowling about how cold he was. It really hadn’t been that long ago actually.
“Maybe you could try laying out on your side. It might help your fur dry a little faster.” The young apprentince mewed quietly. He still wasn’t sure if he was being annoying or if they wanted to hear what he had to say. He flopped out on his side to show what he meant stretching his tiny limbs out in front of him.
Mousepaw was dreading going to sleep. The unnamed tom probably already found out about what he’d done and was just waiting for him. Well, he couldn’t stay awake forever, especially while being balled up to avoid making eye contact with any of the Thunderclan warriors in the warrior den. Slowly he drifted off to sleep. When he opened his eyes he sighed when he found himself in a dark place that was becoming all too familiar. Slowly getting up to his paws he shook off his pelt looking this way and that.
__ __ __
Shadestar sat among the other warrior ancestors listening to the latest in a furious arguement that Starclan had been torn over even before he had arrived here. He had been firmly on the side of Starclan interfering and seeing to it that Nightstar answered for what he had done. By in large he had been ignored and discredited because of the fact he was so personally affected by the Shadowclan leader. It was him by his claws that he had died. His tail flicked at one cat’s voice echoing that the circumstances didn’t matter, they should stay entirely removed from the living cats lives. The thought disgusted him considering the fact that the whole of the clans was made to believe that Starclan would help guide their paws just to die now and realize they couldn’t even settle on that idea.
The former leader wasn’t playing close attention to what was being said. As they spoke his clanmates were in a battle to retake their clan. Otterfur and Redsky were both fighting among them. It was hard to concentrate when there was the thought that they were dying to take back what he had failed to protect. Coralpelt had stayed to keep an eye on things but, he doubted she would tell him anything until it was all said and done.
The long haired tom gave his full attention, like the rest of assembly, to Firestar as he took control of the conversation. Despite the professional air he put on when speaking it wasn’t hard to tell what his feels were on the matter. He locked eyes with Firestar as he finished. He sighed softly to himself and gave a short nod of his head in appreciation. Shadestar listened to the cats around him. There was a few quiet mutterings here or there but, for the first time since the debate had started there was mostly silence. “Whether we do something or not the clans will continue to pray to us and ask for our help. If we continue to ignore them and Nightstar continues unchecked, they will lose faith in us entirely.”

Ravenfang gave a quick look around the camp, seeing the same impending victory that Otterfur had noticed in the camp. He quickly looked back at the flickering life below him. "Redsky," He hissed quietly. "Hey! Its ours! We practically have it. We tookk it back, Redsky. Do you hear me? Your home is back, you can take your son home with you and you have your own place again." His own voice was relieved, something he couldn't truly fake. Lavenderfur was almost unresponsive to Hazelrunner's voice, still tuned out and stunned by his own actions. As she began heading for the exit of camp, it seemed to finally hit him, what she had said, and his eyes wide he looked back up to her. "Both of them, please!"Shadowpaw turned to listen to Applepaw as he made another suggestion, following the not so effective solution; Leafpaw slinked herself down into a nest to hide her embarrassment and leave it to Applepaw. Shadowpaw watched and then mimicked what the apprentice did on a non-wet patch of den, feeling very awkward as he stuck his legs out stiffly in front of him, significantly longer than the other apprentices'. He sighed quietly, then set his head awkwardly on the floor. The unnamed cat watched as the figure appeared before him, the cold, disapproving look staring at him. His disapproval wasn't something of rage and malice, but rather disappointment and lowered expectations. It was something less dangerous, but longer lasting. "I have to apologize to you," He began, shaking his head slightly. "I started training you, and I believed you had the maturity to temper what you want with the caution to achieve it, but I have just learned that I was wrong." He gave a disappointed, yet slightly dramatic sigh. "Now Leafpaw is probably going to dislike you and I can't do anything anymore. Sorry about that...I guess I can't do anything for you anymore." They were very final words, and yet, he left a silence in the air afterwards, an expectant silence that implied Mousepaw had a chance to say...something.--- Uneasy mutterings could be heard from a number of cats. It was something difficult to miss, the doubts that were spinning in the minds and the mouths of some cats. It would be fallacious to say that the point Shadestar made was false, because the whispers of doubt were already audible. Leopardstar bit her lip and looked at the gathered cats around them, gauging their reactions to what had been said. "Its the clans' responsibility to follow the Warrior Code and maintain their faith that Starclan is here. We can't become the parents that intervene whenever anything goes wrong."
Firestar shook his head slowly, a slightly irritated look on his face. He felt like he hadn't been heard at all by Leopardstar. "If we are paws off of everything, mere spectators in their lives, what reason do they have to trust in us? How can we expect them to believe our intentions are benefactorial if our apathy says the opposite?"
Leopardstar quietly listened as Firestar continued with his argument, feeling the passion ringing in his words, and almost wanting to concede a little bit to the impassioned cat. This was the legacy of Firestar, wasn't it? He was that kind of leader in life. Still in death, too.
She stood up with a hard set jaw. "Be careful how you proceed, Firestar. There is a string of truth within your words, but you must thing long and hard of what takes us too far." She quietly warned, then turned around and slowly padded away.

Before Ravenfang spoke again, Redsky had no idea how the battle had been going. Even after the news reached her ears it took a heartbeat for it to truly register what had happened. Her ears perked up the slightest bit and her eyes visibly brightened as the news finally set in. She turned her eyes towards the deputy a bit more alert now. They had really done it. Riverclan would be able to come home. She would be able to bring her son home if she could just hold on a little longer.
Hazelrunner took in a sharp breath when Lavenderfur seemed too occupied with his own thoughts to even acknowledge her at first. She didn’t know he had made the choice to help her and Dogclaw over Redsky. She turned away with a bit uncertainty. When she finally heard him she looked over her shoulder and quickly nodded her head. “I’ll bring them both.” She mewed quickly before taking off at a dead run out of the camp struggling to not slip on all the slick mud. She ran across the almost completely cleared out camp. She spared a glance at the small scuffles that were all that remained of the battle now.
Applepaw nodded his head in encouragement before slowly curling himself back up. The silence that followed was a heavy one. He glanced over at Leafpaw hiding from her embarrassment. It looked like they’d all gone back to miserably waiting in silence. At least they were all miserable and cold together. He sighed to himself curling himself up into a tight little ball to given Shadowpaw more room.
Mousepaw had to resist the urge to flinch a bit when the tom suddenly appeared with the cold disapproving look. It was nothing like how Longshadow would look at him. There wasn’t any real anger, just disapproval for what he’d done. That made it sting that much more. He sat up as straight as he could to face the unnamed cat to get the full brunt of the lecture he was assuming he was going to get. He shifted uneasily when he started off by apologizing to him instead. He tried to sit as tall as he could although his quivering whiskers gave away the fact he was internalizing this cat’s disappointment. “Wait, please.” Mousepaw said hastily shooting up to his paws. “I was mousebrained because I couldn’t stomach the sight of another cat who would rather cry and moan out in the rain at even the thought of a battle.” He took a deep breath swallowing thickly. It was only now starting to dawn on him just how badly he had screw up even if he did feel justified. “I might lose Leafpaw,” Mousepaw paused, “but, I am willing to anything it takes to become the best warrior I can be. Without you I won’t be able to do that.”
__ __ __
Shadestar visibly frowned, his tail lashing from side to side by his paws. Despite the apprehension the other cats seemed to be feeling about how to proceed Leopardstar was stubbornly clinging to continuing to be passive observers. This wasn’t holding their paws because things were slightly difficult, this was against a murderous cat was waging war on their entire way of life. Before he opened his own mouth to say something Firestar gave his own impassioned argument.
Taking a slow breath his shoulders relaxed a little as Firestar’s words seemed to make her concede. Watching her go the tom slowly rose himself as other cats started to move, some following Leopard’s lead away. He couldn’t hide his own relief at the news. It was a victory as far as he was concerned. He now had the chance to talk to his clanmates and maybe even his family himself.

Ravenfang gave a birght smile finally as Redsky seemed to change a little at the news he gave her. "A medicine cat is coming, okay? Then you'll be patched up, and once wehave the canp again, we can bring Applepaw back to you." His eyes glinted with an intense shine, a lump forming in his throat. "We're one pawstep closer to avenging Shadestar, Redsky."
The anonymous warrior listened as Mousepaw immediately began trying to salvage this situation, promising he was willing to do what it took to become the warrior he had offered. "Being a warrior is so much more than fighting," he quietly sighed. "Its about knowing how to keep cats on your side, so that you don't even have to fight some fights, and when you have to, there are more cats to take blows for you."
He cleared his throat quickly, realizing he made a bit of a slip up. He didn't want to imply that Mousepaw would want to use Leafpaw to take damage for him. "That will...leave you in a better place to save those in your heart, you see." He harrumphed quietly. "Are you sure you can make up for what you did today? You have to do the work to repair what you did-at least with Leafpaw. I won't help you with that."
He quietly added one last thing. "And you're not wrong about Applepaw, anyways."

A smile appeared on her lips at the thought of getting revenge for her mate. The she-cat stained her neck a little trying to get a better look at the battle. Wincing at the sudden movement she coughed loudly settling herself back down. The coughing fit had served to tire her out a little but, she was still much brighter than she had been. She opened her mouth a little to say something only for a soft wheeze to come out instead. Redsky looked up in alarm at Ravenfang before she softly coughed again. Right now she couldn’t talk and she couldn’t see the battle. So, she settled down knowing she should conserve her strength.
“Finish off this scum!” Otterfur hissed loudly as he charged down a Shadowclan making a break for the river. He wanted any of the Shadowclan cats left in his camp dead. His eyes were blazing as he landed on top of the warrior and promptly sunk his fangs into the cat’s throat. Stepping away from the body he looked at remained of fighting around them. The Riverclan cats that had sided with him were chasing down the last of the Shadowclan cats. Between them and the warriors from the two other clans it didn’t take long for the last cats to be dealt with swiftly. He gave a triumphant smile as the Riverclan cats drug the last cat trying to disappear into the water. The cats stepped aside when he stalked over. He looked down at the Shadowclan cat who resembled a drowned rat more than a warrior.
“This is for my clan.” He growled raking his claws into the cat’s underbelly and then across the cat’s throat. With that he left the Shadowclan crowfood to die there. He turned back to his clanmates staring at the assembly of cats. Taking a minute to breath he puffed out his chest a little. Riverclan was their’s again. He was at a loss for words honestly, overcome with a flood of different emotions. He was standing in his camp again and although it was littered with the evidence of Shadowclan and the battle, they had made it back here. “I will go to the Moonpool as soon as the storm clears. Then we will start working to heal the wounds left by Shadowclan.” Otterfur yowled to his clanmates. His eyes flickered over them before turning to Redsky. He moved to go to check on Redsky but, was stopped when Riverclan canes towards him to talk to him.
Mousepaw blinked, briefly stunned by the implication the tom had first made. His confusion gave way to relief as he quickly corrected himself to add that it would give him the chance to protect the cats he cared about, which was Leafpaw of course. “Yes I am sure. I will make sure to make it up to her.” The apprentice assured with a rather quick nod of his head. He had an idea of how to do it and unfortunately it meant having to apologize to Applepaw as well and appear to be genuine with his apology. He still heard the bit about Applepaw and felt tiniest bit more justified in his opinion he just went about it the wrong way. He should have at least made sure Leafpaw wasn’t around while doing something like that. He’d have to be more careful from now on.
He took in a deep breath. He was still here so, the unnamed cat was at least hearing him out. “If I can show you I can make it up to Leafpaw, will you at least consider continuing to train me?” Whether he said yes or not Mousepaw had every intention of trying to win Leafpaw over again but, he could also use it as a way to prove to the cat that it wasn’t a waste of his time to teach him.

Ravenfang was quickly alarmed as Redsky began trying to move to see the rest of the battle, making it more difficult to hold the cobwebs that likely were the only counterweight keeping her from falling on the death side of the line. He tried forcing her back to her original position by removing one of his two paws and trying to pull her back down.
When he heard Otterfur finally exclaiming the condition of the battle, a smile filled his face without thinking about it. "Hear that?" He sighed a long and heavy relieved sigh.
The dark pelted cat obscured with pure darkness watched him with the same hard set jaw and a challenging expression. "I guess we will find that out, won't we?" He didn't leave Mousepaw any time to respond, abruptly sending Mousepaw out of the Dark Forest.

Ravenfang’s pressure pushing her back down was enough to get her to settle back down, somewhat reluctantly. She wanted to see it with her own eyes. She in all honesty too weak to give an sort of objections though. She laid still again looking up towards the still somewhat blurry shape over her. She still couldn’t quite make his features out clearly, only really able to tell from his voice that he was indeed happy.
Her eyes widened hearing Otterfur’s call across the silent and tense camp. Redsky had to hold on to the hope to ignored the exhaustion was starting to creep over her. She blinked her eyes slowly nodding her head towards the deputy. They’d really done it, they really had their camp back now.
Mousepaw woke thrashing violently around in his nest. Sitting up he looked at the Thunderclan cats who were looking across the den at him like he had lost his mind. Frowning he gave his chest a few quick licks to cover up his embarrassment. Shifting in his nest he looked out towards the camp. He had managed to alienate every cat. He was going to be truly alone if he didn’t make a change and quickly. As he was mulling over that thought he narrowed his eyes when he caught sight of movement at the entrance to the camp. The Thunderclan cats watched it anxiously.
As soon as she had made it safely to the shore on the other side of the river she had taken off running for the Windclan camp. She ran like she never had in her life, especially with the storm working against her. Still somehow she had managed to run all way back to camp. She came crashing through the camp entrance her chest heaving as she came to a stop. Her legs were shaking as she looked around anxiously for the medicine cats. She needed to get to them as quickly as possible. She had fallen more than once on her race back to camp. That and the scratches along her side made her hobble awkwardly towards the medicine cat den wincing as she moved along.

The storm continued with a force into the early part of the night, not even giving up as the battle came to a slow close; Ravenfang had to imagine Redsky would start having issues of shaking and freezing soon if they didn't patch her up and get her out of this and warmed up.
"We have to protect each other now more than ever, even having different camps," he continued speaking to Redsky, more hoping it gave her something to focus on than anything else. "Even when your clan has returned here. We can't be separate in this time of difficulty. We'll be vigilant, and watch for Shadowclan's movements this time."
Tawnyface, having placed herself at the very edge of the warrior's den, had been quiet yet not trying to sleep. She was focused on the storm that raged outside, thinking about the battle going on now. It felt very strange to her that, in this moment, she was feeling something of an apathy to what happened to the Shadowclan cats. She would be lying if she said she felt aligned completely with Windclan's philosophy or what she saw as a soft interpretation of the Warrior Code, but she had experienced firstpaw the malevolence it had brought her to, and she knew it was dangerous to have ad a standard. For this, she had come to the conclusion that she was apathetic to what happened to the clanmates with pure malevolance within them. Those who didnt follow from respect for authority, but rather longing for power.
Shadowpaw watched the outside of the den silently as he laid there with his limbs outstretched. It was quite uncomfortable to be this soaked now that he was trying to relax. Well...'relax' was a strong word. He was too anxious to 'relax.'

Despite the fact the battle was over and Riverclan had taken their home back, the storm was still raging overhead. The rain was coming down as hard as it had done before, the thunder rumbling above almost drown out Ravenfang’s words. Redsky was no medicine cat and wouldn’t interpret but, it was an uneasy thought to her that the storm was still raging on. It would be seen as a bad omen. Ravenfang’s words offered her some comfort, knowing that her clan wouldn’t be alone. She smiled weakly up to the deputy. While it was a nice thought she was having trouble thinking past the moment.
The freezing rain had soaked all the way through her thick coat of fur. She couldn’t remember ever feeling this cold in her whole life. She was shivering violently as she laid there. Squinting her eyes against the rain she couldn’t keep herself warm. Swallowing thickly she didn’t know how much longer she could last in the cold storm. She was startled by the loud crack of thunder, seeming to wake her up a bit. At least her clan was free if nothing else.
Otterfur was almost overwhelmed by the amount of cats that surrounded him suddenly. After saying a few words to each of them, giving them the best reassurances he could manage before sending them back to take shelter wherever they could. Sprucestar sent some of his own cats into the dens to clean out the dens and get together what dry moss they could. Sighing to himself he shook his head a little. Once he was mostly left along he slowly made his way over to Ravenfang and Redsky. “What can I do?” Otterfur asked Ravenfang although he was looking down at Redsky as he said this. She needed to make it through to see the future of Riverclan.
Hazelrunner quickly and clumsily made her way towards the medicine cat den. “We need help! We found Dogclaw, he was really badly hurt and Redsky is bleeding out. We can’t move either of them.” Hazelrunner was frantic and out of breath as she tried to explain just what had happened. Wildberry was the first to push her way to the back of the den. Hazlerunner stood out in the rain having every intention of going back with them to show them where the cats were even though why most likely would be able to find them both just find.
Lilyheart jumped out of her pelt when a drenched and frantic Hazelrunner appeared in their den to explain what had happened in the battle. Wildberry and Rosethorn scrambled to take what they could from the very sparse herb supplies they had managed to gather.. Lilyheart had agreed to stay behind. She wouldn’t be able to make a journey like that through a storm like this. She looked over the winded she-cat who was anxiously looking towards the entrance to camp. “Hazelrunner I think you should stay. There will be enough cats there.” The medicine cat stepped aside as Wildberry and Rosethorn burst out of den herbs clutched in their mouths.

Ravenfang felt the crowdedness of the camp as so many voices were speaking and exclaiming around him, which was striking his nerves from all sides as he was trying to save the life of the cat by him.
When Otterfur came to him, asking what he could do in another unusual moment of pride-swallowing, Ravenfang felt a small swath of relief. “Will you please quiet the clan down? we need to focus on keeping Redsky awake,” it was a quiet yet desperate plea, revealing his concern for the other clan’s warrior.
A number of pelts were emerging from the dens, trying to avoid the rain if they could, though they were ultimately forced out one by one as they couldn’t get sight nor sound of what was occurring.
Leafpaw was the first at the medicine cat den’s exterior, quickly catching sight of the alarmed and panicked Hazelrunner, her friend clearly afraid about some event. She didn’t get there in time to hear the story, but a spike of dread drove down her spine as she saw that Wildberry and Rosethorn were gathering herbs. Her mouth opened, though she couldn’t produce sound for a few long seconds. “Who?” It was one choked out syllable.
Shadowpaw wasn’t far behind Leafpaw, and by the time Leafpaw had finished choking out her one word question, Shadowpaw had come pelting towards Hazelrunner, stopping just short of barreling into her, about to bury his muzzle into her fur when he saw just how alarmed she looked; he then looked around the den, and began catching on as well.
Tawnyface had taken a position just outside the medicine cat’s den, seemingly unfazed by the horrible weather (minus the unstoppable flinching eyelids). Her eyebrows raised somewhat as she watched Shadowpaw’s reaction, though she could sense the aura right now and decided not to say anything.
