Predators in Cattails

Hello! So i noticed the only REAL Threat in the game is Hunger, Drowning, and Enemy Cats, i was wondering if there is a Plan to Add Predators like Foxes, Dogs, and stuff like that and even make seasonal Predators, And I have not notices but...Do Cars drive down the road?

Cars do not drive down the road because it's closed for construction...apparently.

I don't like this idea, as it changes the aspect of the game from harvest moon-like to niche-like, and if I wanted to play a game where the odds were stacked against me, I'd just go play niche lol. Besides, I have enough of the stupid bats that fly around. >>

Well the odds already ARE Stacked, You have to hunt and make sure you dont starve, and make sure your territory is not taken over by the Clans, Maybe only Normal and hard mode can get Predators and Cars, And where did you hear about the reason the roads are closed? Remember in the beginning you were abandoned by your old home Via Car and they were fine? And i dont think you were left alone for very long until Coco showed up and helped you out.

In the canon, Ember themselves mentions seeing or hearing a dog. Sure, you can argue it's just flavor text that you might hear from a cat but to go through the effort of including dialog and the spiritual predecessor including them...it seems remiss to omit them.

I also want to know where the heck is all this sickness I hear about from both colony cats and rouges. Like it seems to be a legitimate threat but NOTHING actually gets sick. Even when my cat is trekking through thunderstorms, swimming in oceans for hours, digging around in wet caves, they never get ill.

I will agree to hard mode getting predators, or even just having an option I can turn off. I just don't want this game to become yet another pure survival game--there's hundreds of them on steam already. I prefer the slice-of-life gameplay I've had thus far.

The odds aren't THAT stacked. The hunger system isn't much different, imo, than the stamina system in Harvest Moon. It decreases over time and you have to eat to raise it again.  Also, "clan" is a term that Warrior Cats used. The actual word for a group of cats are either Clowder or Colony. (So few people seem to know about that first one...)

If you look at the road in various places, there's pot holes and rocks everywhere. It's clearly deteriorating, and is probably closed because of it.

But its not confirmed that its closed is it? I can agree maybe there can be a setting to turn predators and cars on and off. Clan is used in other places, but yes a CLowder would be a better term for the group of cats (Yes I know about that term, in Puerto Rico there are lots of Clowder in San Juan to the point there are allys and street ways FULL of Cats)

As for the roads, the pot holes and rocks seem small, it would be common for a country road to be such damages,

It's possible that the player character stayed right there for a day or so, waiting to see if the owner would come back.

i love the idea of haveing predators and cars but would love it if you made a town with people and you would be able to become a pet if you want to and these are the animals i would like four you to add foxes dogs badgers hulks snakes pumas and bears bears and pumas would live in caves that have falling rocks.
