I've been working at a fast food establishment for almost four years, and have been promoted to management within the last year: We have a new employee, I am 18, employee is almost 30.. He acts like a teenager, can never be wrong, constantly tries to humiliate me, argues anything, isn't great at his job, ect. Work is my escape from personal problems, I don't really have any friends, family has either moved away, few live in my hometown. Of those few, one might have kidney failure, other driving themselves to liver failure. All I have other than that is my fiance.
Employee blew up on me, said I never do anything, despite the fact I am constantly running around in the kitchen where I work, often sacrificing a food break for getting more things done as I do the night shift. Employee's girlfriend(a manager like myself)obviously defends his dumb butt..had to message boss, write up employee all in hopes the guy will stop being so disrespectful. That happened last night. I work with him later today, am super stressed out about it, all that fun stuff. Like, what do I do? What do I do?

Sharkstar | As Redfoot and Smalltail left, Sharkstar began to move slowly towards the camp, careful not to go to fast for the former warrior.
|
Lionpaw |
| Yes! Thought Lionpaw as he managed to evade the attack, confidence stirring beneath his fur. Maybe, just maybe I can do this. It seemed unlikely to him, though it was worth a try trying to defeat his mentor. Lionpaw thought harder this time, his mind whirling with different battle moves he could use against her. I have to attack now. An enemy wouldn't give him the time to think.
With a burst of speed, the tom dived under her paws. |
|
| Stonemist was already exhausted and they had hardly moved. Oh, just perfect. |

Sharkstar | Sharkstar was silent for a few moments, "He should be in camp," he recalled, having seen Nettlebreeze just before he left to go to the beach.
|
Lionpaw |
| Lionpaw let out a low growl in response when Shellfang evaded him, her paw brushing against his side. That would of been a really bad injury if it was a real battle. He noted to himself. Then, the she-cat leaped at him with incredible speed, Lionpaw ducking in response, hoping she'd go right over him. |

Sharkstar | Sharkstar nodded in response to what Quailmask had said. Reasonable enough. "We're going to bring you to the medicine cat den," Sharkstar meowed softly the former warrior, giving him a slight smile. The gray tom then grabbed the scruff of Stonemist, heaving him to his paws, "Lean on me if you can."
I'll need to get some cats out hunting. His gaze traveled from Smalltail to Redfoot, "Smalltail, I want you to hunt. Redfoot, bring Nettletooth with on a border patrol, then hunt after," he ordered, dismayed by the lack of warriors overall. There had been too many tragedies lately.
|
Lionpaw |
| Lionpaw didn't hesitate one bit, barreling into Shellfang with all of his weight, trying to knock her off balance. |
|
| With a groan, Stonemist was lifted to his paws, his body sore and weak. "Sure.." he murmured in a pained voice, his breathing quickening for a couple moments before it started to return to normal. |

Sharkstar | Sharkstar was frowning now, his paws shuffling through the sand with uncertainty, "Ripplepaw will be crushed..." he meowed quietly, keeping his voice low enough so that Stonemist wouldn't hear.
His gaze flickered over to Quailmask, "A storm. Like the once just a half moon ago," he replied, glancing at Stonemist with a worried and bleak expression.
|
Lionpaw |
| Lionpaw let out a chuckle as Ripplepaw failed at pushing him off, stepping off of her and standing to face Shellfang, his chin level with her neck. He glanced upwards at Shellfang, a determined look flashing in his amber eyes. |
|
| Stonemist could hardly keep up with what was going on around him. It was all so overwhelming. The strong scent of herbs hit him as a bundle was pushed towards him, the healer cat or whatever she was, was ordering he ate it. Without a question, the tom licked up the herbs, gagging at the bitterness. |

Sharkstar | Sharkstar prayed silently to Starclan that the warrior would remember who he was at the very least and his daughter. Though, it seemed that he had injured his head somehow based on how he remembered nothing of being in the sea.
|
Lionpaw |
| Lionpaw let out a triumphant yowl, and pinned her down, muzzle to muzzle with her, a grin stretched across his face. Despite being as bulky as he was, the tabby tom was still very fast with quick reflexes. |
|
| Stonemist shook his head in response to the white and black tom's questions, "I..have a daughter?" he blinked slowly, glancing around. |

Sharkstar | Sharkstar gave Smalltail a smile, "Thank you very much," he thanked the young tom, pushing the leaf and fish towards Stonemist. "Drink this please."
|
Lionpaw |
| Instinctively when Ripplepaw jumped on his back, he rolled forward with all of his weight in an attempt to get her on the ground so he could pin her down. |
|
| Stonemist craned his neck forward, licking up the water thirstily, the cold water giving strength to his fragile body. Once he had licked up all the water, he turned himself towards Redfoot weakly, "I..I don't know.." he strained to remember what had happened, but his mind felt like an empty void. |

Sharkstar | Sharkstar's gaze flickered over to Smalltail, "Fetch some fresh water, and fresh kill," he ordered the warrior, his attention back on Stonemist. "You're going to be fine," he murmured, hoping what he said was true. Stonemist was in pretty rough shape.
|
Lionpaw |
| Lionpaw muttered "mousedung" under his breath as she rolled away, darting all around him. He stayed still, preparing himself for what she would do next. He didn't want to become dizzy by trying to follow where she was at all times. |
|
| Stonemist could only give a slight nod in response to the bobbed tail tom, his aqua blue eyes narrow slits as he struggled to keep them open. |

Sharkstar | Sharkstar watched as Stonemist attempted to get up, immediately falling back down. Oh, Stonemist, where have you been.. "Take it easy," he meowed to the warrior softly, ears perking up as he spotted Quailmask rushing towards them. Relief.
When the medicine cat asked if he had performed cpr, the gray tom nodded, "His lungs are clear, but he's so weak."
|
Lionpaw |
| As quick as lightning, with blood roaring in his ears, the bulky apprentice shot forward, darting underneath her belly and pushing up hard with his back in an attempt to stun her temporarily, using his bulky weight to his advantage. |
|
| Stonemist could only lay there, panting, as other cats joined. He felt so utterly defeated and exhausted. He just wanted to close his eyes and.. No! I have to stay awake. |

(You can join!)
Sharkstar | Sharkstar breathed a sigh of relief when the dark gray tabby began to cough up the water, glancing at Redfoot, "Stonemist, Ripplepaw's father," while he was more than glad to see the warrior alive, he hoped that he wouldn't lose that close bond he had with Ripplepaw.
|
Lionpaw |
| Lionpaw faced Ripplepaw, who had gone into a defensive stance. A smirk pierced the apprentice's feature as he got into an attack crouch, tucking his tail in. He had learned from Sharkstar that not having a tail gave him an edge in battle because there was less to grab hold of. It had been tricky for Lionpaw to learn, spending long nights practicing balancing with a tucked in tail. He was ready, he would win against Ripplepaw, and try to against Shellfang. |
|
| The tabby tom glanced up at the large bobbed tail tom that towered over him who kept calling him Stonemist, his blue eyes narrowed in confusion. Stonemist? Is that my name? His thoughts were all scrambled as he struggled to get to his paws, everything spinning. His head was pounding. So dizzy... He flopped back down onto the sand. |

Sharkstar | As they hauled the drenched cat back to the shore, Sharkstar fell backwards with a yowl, his sea-green eyes heightened with shock. The cat was all too familiar to Sharkstar, the cat that lay before him was Stonemist, Ripplepaw's father, who had disappeared several moons ago during a huge storm. "Stonemist!" he cried out in glee and in grief, rolling him on his back and pushing on his chest with his paws in an attempt to resuscitate him.
|
Lionpaw |
| Lionpaw bounced after Shellfang and Ripplepaw, a large smile on his face. He would show her how strong he was getting! The tom skipped up the tunnel towards the training cliffs, casting Ripplepaw a gleeful look. |
|
| The gray tom was awakened to a pressure on his chest, coughing up water violently, rolling over. |

Sharkstar | A smile creased Sharkstar's features, "I'm glad, Seaclan needs you here," he expressed, sighing in relief. As he stared out at the sea, something in the water struck his eye. He squinted against the glowing sun, a gray striped pelt floating towards the shore, exclaiming loudly, "There's a cat in the water!"
Within a couple of moments, the gray tom had charged into the sea, using his hindlegs to propel him towards the cat, his jaw gripping it's scruff as he began to pull it towards the land. The cat was very scrawny, clearly malnourished, as he began to swim towards the shore.
|
Lionpaw |
| Lionpaw's tail lashed ecstatically as he jumped to his paws, "Oh, I won't let you down!" he chirped, extending his claws and scraping them across the cave floor. Sparring was his favorite thing to do when it came to training; he felt so alive when fighting and despite his weight, proved a fast and formidable opponent. He had been practicing almost every night since the beginning of his training. |

Sharkstar | Sharkstar nodded after a moment, staring blankly at the ocean waves, "Thornshade has gone to the Twolegplace," he meowed after a couple of moments, turning his head to look at Redfoot, "She was a good warrior. I fear that one day you will decide to leave," he admitted, green eyes brimming with worry.
"You supported me the most when I first became leader."
|
Lionpaw |
| Lionpaw hauled his bulky body over to the fresh-kill pile, snatching a plump mouse from the pile. He gobbled it down within a few moments, staring hungrily a good sized tuna on the top. Though, it would be foolish to eat so much right before training, and besides, Lionpaw was becoming pretty plump himself. |
