Sharkstar | "Are you happy in Seaclan?" Sharkstar repeated, a hint of stress edging his voice. It troubled Sharkstar greatly that Thornshade had suddenly disappeared, her scent tracked to the twolegplace. Had she decided to leave the Clan and stay with twolegs? He hoped that Redfoot wasn't considering leaving the Clan.
|
Lionpaw |
| With a groan, Lionpaw pushed himself to his paws, his fur sticking up every which way as he padded out to meet Shellfang, his jaw gaping open in an enormous yawn. "..ready.." He rasped his tongue over his messy fur briskly. |

Sharkstar | Sharkstar shook his head in response to Redfoot, his gaze not faltering as he gazed at the sea, "Are you happy?" he blurted out as soon as the she-cat had joined him. He worried about the former rogue, having known that some cats still didn't trust her despite the seasons she had spent in the Clan.
|
Lionpaw |
| Lionpaw slipped in and out of consciousness for a while before he finally decided he should get up. Sure, he wanted to sleep the day with Ripplepaw, but he had to train. The large tom sat up, his eyes still bleary from sleep as his amber eyes flickered open, glancing at the entrance. Who would be training him today? He wondered, as Saltbreeze had fallen ill with a mysterious stomach illness, and had been cooped up in the medicine cat the past couple days.
Shellfang had been responsible for his training lately, and he hoped she would be the one training him again if Saltbreeze was still ill. |

HALF MOON TIME SKIP @umm: Accepted!
Sharkstar | It had been a half-moon since the Clan's ordeal with the horrific supernatural creature on the high cliffs. Sharkstar was sitting a desolate part of the beach, watching as dawn light cast it's brilliant warm light across the sea, the water shimmering. He sighed softly, gazing at the sea, the waves lapping at the beach quietly.
|
Lionpaw |
| It was just before dawn when Lionpaw stirred in his moss bed, shifting so that his muzzle was snuggled against Ripplepaw's chest, sighing softly. It was just about time to get up, but Lionpaw was far too comfortable to move just yet. The two slept by each other every single night now. |

Sharkstar | The dark gray tom's head lowered, "It it unfortunate that we were unable to retrieve Sandtail, but we will still hold vigil for her tonight," he explained, light green eyes brimming with sorrow. I'm sorry Sandtail. The Clan had lost a great warrior.
|
Lionpaw |
| A smile creased his face at Ripplepaw's words, "I'm glad," he whispered happily to her, glancing back up at Sharkstar. It didn't matter to him anymore if anyone judged him for it-Ripplepaw didn't, and that's what mattered most. |

Sharkstar | Sharkstar took a deep breath after a couple of moments, "It wasn't anything like I had ever seen before," he recalled, trying to push away the image of it's unhinging jaw and rows upon rows of razor sharp teeth. "No one is to ever go to the high cliffs. No-one. Evil lurks among that cliff."
|
Lionpaw |
| Lionpaw leaned against Ripplepaw, sighing softly, "I wish I was Clanborn," he murmured into her ear, his amber eyes shutting for a couple of moments before fluttering open. His eyes flickered across the crowd: Everyone here but Redfoot and Quailmask were Clanborn. |

Sharkstar | Sharkstar's gaze also rested on Thornshade for a couple of moments, I'll need to talk to her about telling the Clan that I was dead. He added silently to himself. When most of the cats had gathered, Sharkstar began, "Shadestep, Sandtail, and I went out to the high cliffs searching for our lost Clanmates, " he inhaled sharply, still traumatized by the horror of what happened, "What happened is nothing short of terrifying," the expression on his face changed from serious to that of a grieving cat, "Shallowpaw and Frostfur were killed by this monster, and...Sandtail was killed by the trap laid out," his meow cracked with emotion as he mentioned the dead cats.
|
Lionpaw |
| Lionpaw followed after the warrior, still upset. Do cats still think I'm not as good as them? It was a worrying thought for the young tom. His amber gaze flickered across the cats until he found Ripplepaw, padding over to her to sit beside her for the meeting. Perhaps, Ripplepaw would make him better. |

Bean -
Bean was gazing up at the stars when a movement stirred at the corner of her vision. She swung her head around, eyes widening in hunger as she spotted a mouse scrambling about along the marigold in her garden. Her amber eyes followed the mouse as it inched closer to the fence. The she-cat crouched down on the fence, Come on.. If the mouse moved any closer, Bean would have a clear shot if she could time her jump right.
The mouse scuttled closer, Perfect. Without a moment's hesitation, Bean pounced down from the fence onto the mouse, grabbing it's tiny body between her teeth and shaking it. A squeal had escaped it's mouth before it was killed, an owl hooting close by. The she-cat's amber eyes were brimming with pride at her kill as she tore into it ravenously.

Sharkstar | Cats had already begun to gather around the leader's rock upon Sharkstar leaping onto it, his light green eyes flickering across his Clanmates. He wouldn't let another one of them get taken by that foul beast; it killed his father, it killed daughters and sons of other cats. No, oh no, the beast would have to starve. His gaze rested on Smalltail for a moment, I'll have to speak to him in private. Smalltail had refused overs earlier, and he would have to be spoke to about to prevent it from happening in the future.
"All cats old enough to swim in the sea gather beneath the leader's rock for a Clan meeting!"
|
Lionpaw |
| Lionpaw gulped audibly, a dejected expression on his face. His shoulders were drooped, his tail wrapped around himself tightly as if he were protecting himself. "Why do Clan cats have so many issues with cats that aren't Clanborn?" He asked after several long moments of silence, his normally vibrant amber eyes dulled. |

Sharkstar | Sharkstar nodded, a grim expression stretching across his features, "Yes, I do, regarding what just happened," he meowed to her in a somewhat quiet voice. He cringed at the thought of the creature that the Clancats faced, padding over the the leader's rock, Sharkstar leaped onto the top, gazing around the cats.
|
Lionpaw |
| Lionpaw nodded, understanding her anger, and was relieved to hear Shellfang apologizing. Lionpaw spotted Redfoot trudging over, asking in a whisper, "Why do Clancats tend to not like those who aren't Clanborn?" he asked hastily.
Redfoot had approached Shellfang now, telling her to say things to her face instead of bringing Lionpaw into it. The apprentice shrunk back, fur rising along his spine at the hostility. He didn't want his Clanmates to get into conflicts with each other! |

Bean -
Bean chirped excitedly as a soft breeze whisked through her fur, padding confidently towards the fence. The pretty she-cat bunched her muscles, and launched herself onto the fence, landing with an "oof". Her legs were a bit shorter than the average cat, and made it difficult jumping up onto higher surfaces. Luckily, her housefolk didn't have a very tall fence unlike may of the other yards.

Sharkstar | As Ripplepaw asked about what he presumed was a water-monster, the tom frowned, "No, I didn't," he glanced towards the sea-entrance briefly, "It was destroyed?" he asked in a somewhat concerned voice, his father once lived in a sea-monster when he was a "sailor's cat" or whatever he called it before arriving to the Clan.
|
Lionpaw |
| Lionpaw's ears pricked at Shellfang's hostile comment towards Redfoot, his gaze then turning to Shellfang as she thanked him for being responsible and staying in camp, "N-no problem," he stuttered, a bit shocked yet that Shellfang referenced Redfoot's past life as a rogue. He didn't see anything wrong with it, but then again, he received hostility when he first joined the Clan for being a kittypet. What was it about not being Clanborn that was so bad?
The tom gulped, "Shellfang..?" |

Sharkstar | Sharkstar nearly jumped out of his fur when Ripplepaw barreled into him, nuzzling into his chest. He gazed at her with fatherly warmth in his eyes, purring loudly. He licked her forehead, his tongue rasping over her tear stained fur, "I'm fine," her murmured happily, ignoring the fact that Thornshade said he was dead.
|
Lionpaw |
| Lionpaw watched as Ripplepaw nearly tackled Sharkstar, and turned his gaze towards Shellfang, who Redfoot had greeted. He skipped over to her with joy, "We were all so worried about the two of you!" he chirped. |

Sharkstar | When they reached the camp, Sharkstar was immediately met by Smalltail who was asking quite a few questions, overwhelming the leader, "I'm fine, I'm fine, no need to worry Smalltail," he finally answered after several moments, before heading over to the center of the camp towards the leader's rock. No cat ever after tonight was to go to the high cliffs.
|
Lionpaw |
| Lionpaw bounced up ecstatically as Shellfang and Sharkstar returned to camp, "Ripplepaw, look!" he shouted to the pretty she-cat, his amber eyes glowing with relief, "They're soak, but otherwise look fine!" His fluffy tail was lashing in excitement and the worry that had drenched him to the core was gone. |

Bean -
The moon was climbing it's way up in the sky when Bean awoke from her cat nap, stirring in the top ledge of her cat tree. She glanced up the window at the sky, her amber eyes glowing with excitement. One of Bean's favorite things to do was sit on her fence at night and gaze at the stars. She had once heard from a wondering cat that the stars were the ancestors of wild groups of cats. The gray tabby hopped off of the cat tree and down the stairs to where the cat door was, slipping through.

Sharkstar | Sharkstar smiled in return, and bunched his muscles, sprinting towards the camp, "We should be able to get to camp before the storm gets worse if we run there!" he called after her, muscles rippling beneath his fur as he ran. Despite being bulky, Sharkstar was still a pretty fast runner.
|
Lionpaw |
| Lionpaw's ears were perked up as he listened to Redfoot's and Smalltail's conversation. From what he could hear, Smalltail wanted to go out and find Sharkstar if he didn't come back soon, and Redfoot was ordering him not to. He audibly breathed a sigh of relief. It was nice to see Redfoot taking control of the situation like that when the deputy and leader weren't in camp. Some cat had to do it. |
