Hey everyone! I'm finally ready to reveal an art project I've been working on:
This drawing is of the cats at the Equestrian Center where I work. I drew this as a gift for my boss, originally just to give to her whenever, but with Christmas fast approaching, I decided to get to work hard on finishing it, and give it to her today.
Here's a little info on the cats this is drawn of:
Work today was a bit rough for everyone, so it was the perfect time to present it to bring a little light into the day. Presenting it was great too I just walked in like normal, and then pulled the wrapped picture in its frame out from inside my coat. The wrapping looked so nice, she didn't want to rip it!
She loved it, and she took it back to her home. She said that it helped cheer her up, so mission accomplished! It was worth every moment I worked so hard to finish it. I didn't do anything else the rest of the week, but what matters is that I got it done, and she loved it!

Here's a little info on the cats this is drawn of:
Pickles:
Pickles is a cat who doesn't walk - he skulks everywhere he goes. He loves catching any sort of swallow or mouse he can catch, and he very much dislikes the two kittens; as is portrayed in the drawing.
Cricket:
Cricket is a tiny little cat who likes to keep to herself. She's a bit old, but she's very sweet. You'll notice how she's missing the tip of her right ear - which is captured in the drawing as well.
Shrimp:
Though Shrimp's unexplained disappearance means he is no longer with us, he remains always in our hearts - including our drawings. Shrimp was an incredibly lazy cat, who cared about almost nothing besides sleeping, and being picked up by people.
Minnow:
Minnow is the Equestrian Center's resident goofball these days. Though originally just a thin kitten found in a cornfield, he's now even bigger than Pickles, since he likes to lick up the healthy oils meant for horses. As a result, he's quite stout, but he's just as silly and loveable as he is heavy.
Also, in just a random antique store, I'd seen a picture that looked creepily like him:
Resemblance is uncanny, isn't it? They're even sitting in the same pose! This picture I'd originally given to my boss, and she'd loved it. That was also what had inspired me to draw this one originally, so of course they had to be in the same pose for it.
Fin and Chili:
These two kittens are the newest addition to the Equestrian center, and they're absolutely crazy. They certainly have the energy of young kittens... The orange one is named Chili, and the black one is named Fin. They both have such big eyes!
