A rug I made for the den of an NPC I'm working on! My first mod :>
I sadly don't know how to size the furniture barrier, but if anyone can manage to do so please let me know! I'll credit you for your help!!
Thanks to Catsquid for helping me with the furniture's proportions!

The bounds for furniture are set in the furniture's .meta file within the "furniture" folder. It should look something like this: "blocker_width": 15, "blocker_height": 24, "blocker_x_mod": 8, "blocker_y_mod": 5 This section of the documentation explains what those tags mean, but let me know if you need me to explain/show you in further detail. Also, the links for both the preview and download are broken. I'm unsure how to help you there as I don't use Dropbox; I use Google Drive for files and Discord (if you already have it) or Imgur for images.

I must have forgotten to replace the links when I had to troubleshoot the consistency of the sprite placement. Hopefully they should be fixed now; they work on firefox, at the least!
And thank you for the advice! I actually did know about this but modifying the values is killing me and my hands sadly and troubleshooting the values is infuriating... I'm no good with estimating coordinates so i couldn't even get very close :[

Links are working now! And sorry to hear you're having trouble. I don't know how much it will help, but here's my method for getting the bounds: 1. Open the sprite in an image editor that will tell you the coordinates. Most art programs (including MS Paint) have this at the bottom left. 2. Using a rectangle or selection tool, draw a rectangle where you want the border to be. Use a color that's easy to see. 3. Select the box you drew. At the bottom, the dimensions will be displayed. The first number is your value for "blocker_width", and the second is "blocker_height". 4. Select the space from the left side of your box to the left side of the image. The first number is your value for "blocker_x_mod". 5. Select the space from the top of your box to the top of the image. The second number is your value for "blocker_y_mod". All done! If that doesn't help you, no worries; I'm sure it'll be useful for somebody else. Good luck!
