Hi!
This isn't exactly a bug, but I thought that it deserved to be brought to the attention of the team at Cattails. I just started playing Wildwood Story today (release v1.10), and only a few minutes in, I'm noticing grammatical errors in the game text. Specifically, on a number of occasions, vocative commas are missing in cats' dialogue. For any readers who are unaware, in English, vocative commas are commas that are placed around direct addresses. A direct address is the usage of a person/place/thing's name/nickname/title/etc. when speaking directly to them. In English, we require that commas be placed before and/or after direct addresses, as appropriate. Notice the usage of commas in the following examples:
"Hello, Felis!"
"Felis, what's wrong?"
"Golly gee, Felis, that's a mighty fine hat you have!"
While it has become common for English speakers to omit the comma in certain short phrases (e.g., "Hello everybody!"), this practice is ultimately incorrect.
I sincerely hope that this report doesn't come off as elitist or nitpicky, but seeing incorrect grammar and punctuation in a game immediately removes the appearance of professionalism for me and, I'm sure, many others. I loved my experience in the original Cattails (though it's been a while since I played it and can't remember if the missing vocative commas were an issue in that game as well), and I am already enjoying Wildwood Story even though I've just gotten started. I really want to see the Cattails series be the best it possibly can be, which is why I'm reaching out to bring attention to this issue.
Thanks so much for reading!
