Hi! I started a new playthrough on the switch, and this time I intend to try and get to the custom colony this time, but some research has me very worried and has been killing my motivation.. When researching, the wiki says that you can only place the colony in an *unclaimed* area and someone in the steam forums state thats there's no way to move your custom colony once you place it. If my current colony ends up owning an area that I would want my custom colony to live in, am I just out of luck? Or is there any mechanic to make an area "unclaimed" again?

By unclaimed, I think they meant unlocked. You can place your capital on any visible tile on the map as long it is not one of the 7 locked tiles. It's true that you can't move it after picking it.
