Where have you set your custom colony?

 Although I'm not there yet, I plan to set mine in either rumbling stones overpass, or in the southern cliffs area. Which one of those has more free and open space?

 Where have you set your custom colony at, and what were your reasons?

Welp, I joined mystic colony and I just started and the puddles and ponds are a bit annoying so I would move either of the places you said.

Here is a list of my files.

1. Forest Colony, but will make custom colony
2. Forest Colony - will live here
3. Mountain Domain - will live here
4. Mystic Colony - will live here
5. empty and unused

I'd say both are pretty open. At any rate, both have more than enough space for a Colony. I would choose based on whether or not you want that road there.

As for where I've put my own colonies, I've made them at Shady Corner, Central Lake, Fairywood, Highland East, and currently looking into Forest North.

I chose Shady Corner because of that neat circle of trees near the top. Thought it looked cool.
The lake has a lot of open space and is pretty close to the center of the map. Plus Catnip grows right on the tile.
I chose Fairywood because of how it looked. However this had the drawback of removing the prey spawns from the area- Fairywood is known for being a place where lots of doves spawn, with turtles and bluejays being a little more common than usual.
I chose Highland East because I wanted a change of pace. All 3 of my previous colonies had been made in just a normal oak forest. I wanted to try out the highlands/pine forest.
I'm looking into Forest North because it has a path (which is convenient for making towns) and some cool trees and mushrooms. However I am considering making it closer to Mystic as I haven't ever tried out a colony in the marsh besides Mystic itself. If I do make a swamp Colony I'll probably pick Swamp Corner, Mossy Field (not in the swamp but close), or one of the Wetland Borders.

So, I've mostly just chosen because of how the tile looks.

im currently thinking of putting my newest custom colony in the hallowed garden since its in the middle of the map and it easy to get everywhere from there. though im still not too sure about it. what do you guys think?
