1. Why exactly is Lyrus living in a den that's outside of the Forest Colony walls? Was he halfway banned from that colony?
2. Are players able to change their mate's name, or their mate's coat color?

1. No, there seems to be no real reason. He just wanted to, I guess. Maybe it was because they ran out of space within the walls. Either way, he's still a normal member of the Forest Colony.
2. The only cats whose names and pelts you can change are those in the Custom Colony. If you marry someone from there, then yes, you can change their name and color. For everyone else? No, you can't.

1. No real reason, I think he (or she, doesn't matter) just wanted to. Maybe the makers and backers could make up a reason, I don't know.
2. If they are from your custom colony, yes. If they are from any colony OTHER than custom, no.
