Sorry to hear you're having issues locating a conch shell. In theory, 1 in 20 shells should spawn as a conch (5% of shells,) but in practice this isn't always the case and we've had a couple reports from players with a similar experience to yours.

So far, we have been unable to replicate the issue ourselves, so we are looking into it on a case-by-case basis to see if we can find a commonality.

Can I ask what hardware model you're playing on (Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite?) Any information you can provide will be very helpful to our team. Thanks!

Hi my daughter's having the same problem, she cant find a conch shell anywhere but knows where to get them, every time she goes to the beach she only finds scallops. We have Cattails it was the downloadable version for Nintendo Switch.
