I purchased Cattails near its release on Steam. I just recently got back into it, and I'm loving it once again.
I was wondering if there's future plans to update, and expand this game? I haven't found any recent information regarding possible future updates.
I'd love to know! This is a lovely, wholesome cat game.

Hi misery, Thanks for the kind words! Glad to hear that you're enjoying Cattails. At this time, there are no plans for future Cattails updates. Is this to say you also have no plans on at least patching the switch version, or is that a separate statement entirely? After over a year with no concrete statement made on whether or not there are plans to try and make the Switch version at least baseline playable for everyone, it's hard to be patient anymore. I want to love this game — it's a fun premise and what's there I do enjoy — but it's gotten incredibly frustrating hearing nothing regarding any planned attempts to patch the Switch version. I appreciate that it must be a difficult process to push patches through as an Indie developer versus PC. But every concern that's been voiced regarding the state of the Switch version (Savannah's shop and the conch spawns) feels like it's been brushed off with a shrug and incredibly vague "no official word" or "looking into it". I want to love this game, I really do! But I can't even play the copy I paid for and I'm just left hanging in limbo not knowing if I'll ever get to actually play it :/

Sorry for your frustrations, I understand where you are coming from. Pushing an update to the console version is complicated, but we are taking any reports of game-breaking bugs seriously. If your issue is with Conch shell spawn rates in particular, I would love to hear more about your situation as we've had some reports of having trouble locating these items, however we have as of yet but unable to reliably replicate the issue or discover any bugs in the code related to Conches. To provide a bit of further insight, the original intent was for everyone to gather a Conch spawned on the beach; Conches were added to Savannah's shop later as a convenience, and I understand the shop is displaying the wrong items.
