So I found out that you can brefriend other cats in other colonies and gain a good reputation between them but how exactly do I do that and what's the benefits to brefriending different colonies?

To get more friendship with a colony, you must talk to their guard (Sarge, Jag, or Oracle). If you try to give them a gift, there will be an option to give it to the colony instead. At 25% reputation, you are allowed to enter their camp and interact with the other cats. At 50% reputation, you can use their services (the shop & the doctor). At 75%+ reputation, you are allowed to join their colony whenever you wish, and their cats will not attack you unless you attack them.
