Lost Power Paw

So I am in the winter festival, I complete all the games, talk to the cats, and I go to leave and just as I click to leave. I notice there is a power paw that I had not been alerted to. Of course as I just gave the command to leave the temple I miss it entirely. I have no idea where that power paw came from, and I had no idea it was there. So anyways I figure I can just walk back and get it. So I get there before nightfall, can't enter because they are cleaning up from the festival. Fine I'll wait. So morning comes, and the paw is gone completely. I lost this paw. At this point I am sitting in a mixture of confusion and frustration. One that I was not informed it was there or even why it was there. Two that the game would let me leave the area, knowing the paw would be lost upon doing so, and three that there is no warning or even recourse to obtain it back. So here I am, posting here. Not sure if this should be considered a bug, or just a cruel "feature". I have no idea.

Did you try triggering the Power Paw again? If you don't know how I can tell you how.

It is normal for Power Paws to disappear upon leaving the tile, I can assure you that. You only need to perform the steps to obtain it to get it back.

You probably stepped on all four paw things.

if the stepping thing doesn't work and you really want it you can edit your save file. Back it up first, go to the bottom and see where it lists the power paws. The ones that have "MA==" by them you don't have, the ones that have "MQ==" by them you do have. Change all of the the MA's into MQ's and you will have 200 max health.
