Thank you, anawarrior, for the idea of this challenge!
Summary: Go through life stages and grow from a kitten to an elder.
This challenge is best when combined with other challenges (particularly doctor challenge or personality challenge)!
Stages
Kitten (Summer 1 - Autumn 10, Year 1) During the kitten stage, you can't do much. You can't leave the territory, participate in battles, or hunt more than 10 pieces of prey a day... But luckily it only lasts a while. You can attend festivals during this stage!
Child (Winter 1, Year 1 - Winter 1, Year 2) During the child stage, you can do more! You'll be receiving training during the year, so you'll be allowed to leave the territory to visit other colonies, participate in daily battles, or fetch items for tasks. You are now allowed to fight, hunt as much prey as you want, and join in on tasks! However, you can't date yet, or begin the main storyline.
Teen (Winter 2, Year 2 - Spring 10, Year 3) During the teen stage, you can do anything -- except get married. You can, however, begin dating and start the main storyline.
Adult (Summer 1, Year 3 - However long you like!) During the adult phase, you can now do anything! Congratulations!
Senior Adult (2 years) You can't divorce anymore, as you're sort of locked in at this point... You're slowing down on movement, hunting, fighting. Time to start settling down into elderhood.
Elder (1 year) You can't participate in battles as you're too old. Enjoy your last year with family, friends, and strolls across the territory.
Death Death. It happens to all of us. Your choices now are:
- Quit the challenge
- Start again
- Play as one of your kittens (Choose a similar fur color on a new save file, choose the same colony [if custom, choose one of the 3], name yourself the same thing. Begin in adulthood instead of kithood.)

Premature death is possible!
During a battle, you have a choice to roll 1-6 on a random number generator and choose the outcome you land on.
1: No injuries sustained.
2: Minor injuries, don't affect you very much.
3: Moderate injuries, stay inside town and the surrounding tiles for 1 or 2 days.
4: Slightly serious injuries, stay inside town or surrounding tiles for 3 or 4 days.
5: Serious injuries. Stay inside town or surrounding tiles for 5 days.
6: Death, or save yourself with a special object I call...
Blessings
Blessings are given when you move from one life stage to another. By adulthood, when real dangers kick in, you should have 3 blessings ready. Blessings save you from death for 1 time, and then they are gone.

Here are some daily tasks for you to roll 1-10 if you're bored; #1 is unavailable in winter and #3 is only available if you have kitten(s).
1: The doctor of the colony has run low on herbs and has asked you specifically to find some herbs for them. After counting their stock, they reported that they needed 3 Goldenseal, 3 Marigold, and 3 Valerian. They need it by the next morning. (5 AM to 10 AM) If successfully delivered, they'll be grateful to you!
2: The shopkeeper of the colony needs more items to sell! Find an item not already in their store and place it outside their den and they'll be grateful to you!
3: (ONLY AVAILABLE IF YOU HAVE KITTEN/KITTENS) If weather permits, you decide to take out your kitten (or one of them) to go do something or see someplace.
4: Read the following scenarios:
Forest colony: Scout mentioned to you that he found a new source of harvest mice in the Shady Corner and requested that you catch one or two to bring it back and confirm. If you bring it back within 24 hours, he'll be grateful to you!
Mountain domain: Jag told you that they were searching for a new nest of doves to catch and said he found one in the Woodland Eyot. He asked you to catch a few and bring them back and said he'd really appreciate it if you did it in the next 24 hours.
Mystic colony: Nil was boasting about finding crows at the Rumbling Overpass, then admitted to you that he wasn't sure and pleaded that you catch one there to confirm for him. He thanked you and said that if you could get it in the next 24 hours it would be great!
5: Read the following scenarios:
Forest colony: You overheard that Missy was looking for raspberries - specifically, she wanted 6, to grow some in her den - and thought that you should probably get them for her. She'll probably like that!
Mountain domain: You heard Leo speaking to Arthur and found out that Leo's actually been writing poetry! He said he needed some inspiration, so you came up with a few ideas as to what to get him. Get him Valerian, Snake Lily, or Lavender, and he'll be sure to use it!
Mystic colony: You saw Mossie cloud-gazing but saw her food supply low. You figured she'd probably like it if you got her something she loved - berries! Give her 3 of any berries and she'll be sure to thank you!
6: At the festival, you figured a feast would make it so much better! Bring at least 5 pieces of prey to the festival and everyone will be happy!
7: You noticed the dens in your colony seemed a little... bland. Decorate at least one den and the owner will be delighted!
8: Some cats are more creative than others, so you figured you'd talk to one and work on your own skills. Outside their den, you decided to make an 'art project' together (make your own out of any items!). You both feel closer to each other after such a grueling project!
9: Even if you're not in his colony, Scout is kind to everyone! Since he seems lonely sometimes, you decided to drop by and practice hunting with him. He seems to have cheered up!
10: Read the following scenarios:
Forest colony: Sarge is almost always alone, so you thought you'd give him some company! This event ends as soon as you reach 4 stars of friendship with him. You don't have to keep the 4 stars, but it is recommended.
Mountain domain: Since Pebble seems to be quite self-reserved, you thought you'd hang out for a while. This event ends as soon as you reach 4 stars of friendship with her. You don't have to keep the 4 stars.
Mystic colony: Alisa seems to be quite mysterious and a little lonely, so you figured she might want a friend. This event ends as soon as you reach 4 stars of friendship with her. You don't have to keep the 4 stars.
