I don't know why Doc doesn't get more love; he's sweet, kind, and a very gentle soul! So glad I can cat-marry him now ;0
imo I don't really like any of the other new marriage candidates, thank Falcon for Doc!

Yes, Doc is lovely, but i don't think one of my two cats could marry him, since i imagine them like pretty young, and he's not.

well you can pretend that he's young, I married Krampy in one of my saves and I'm pretty sure he's way older than my character

Any cat can say they're old, you just are assuming that they're old just because they say they are! So you don't need to pretend that they're young, they might be and they just lie about they're age!

Yeah, and I guess Doc and Krampy don't seem too young, but then again, they just say that they're old.

Or you could always say that they're making a joke when they say they're old, and maybe they're just a couple cat-years older than your cat. That's just my idea, though.

Doc is my absolute favorite character. I played the game before he was marriageable, and he was the first NPC I boosted up all the way to maximum friendship before anyone else. When I found out he wasn't marriageable [ at the time ] I was very sad, and had settled for Scout. But days after I had gotten married to Scout, the new update making Doc marriable came out! Needless to say, Scout still doesn't talk to me...
I love Doc. I don't mind that he's an older cat, as I personally am an older player [ at least four years into adulthood now ], and there's nothing wrong with romancing a canonically older character. They're cats for crying out loud! I think his older charm and gentle demeanor are really what draw me to him. My in-game character got into lots of fights when she was first starting out in the Colony, and I feel like they bonded during the time he spent healing her.
Plus, his married dialogue is just so sweet. I just wanna smooch his handsome lil face. >3<
