Suggestions on making gameplay interesting?

Does anyone have any suggestions that could help make gameplay more interesting for me so it doesn't get boring?

Try to make little challenges to complete throughout the day, if you don't complete them maybe there would be a punishment! (This is what I do)

Make up a story like "My spouse/kitten/colony member is sick! I'd better get them some herbs!"

Tried V.Hard? Try conquering the whole map in that mode.

Try to make all your Mews through one item, create different storylines with your cat or maybe see how much money you can make in the shortest amount of time?

Finish the main quest, then create a custom colony without any other cat in it (basically live as a loner).
Then if you want access to a mate/doctor/shopkeeper you have to raise your relationship with a colony.

I have the following challenges;

True Pacifist: Do not fight anything or anyone (the only ecception is to get the gems for the temple pillars). Your diet can only consist of berries and licorice

Neutral Pacifist: No fighting (same exception as above) but you can hunt

No purchases: You can't buy any of the items you need for the main quest, with festival tokens or mews. You may use the taskboard. (This is very difficult. I've been doing this since the Switch game came out and I still haven't done it- and I'm on easy mode)

Genocide Route: Fight everything that tries to fight you (cats, bats, ghosts, anything)
