I’m absolutely in love with the game and would LOVE to see more I really would like to have alternative color options for my new colony is there anything new in the works for near future updates regarding anything? I have been promoting this game my husband and I just bought it on Nintendo switch and am buying for our younger siblings with switches I don’t ever want to run out of stuff to do 😂 I just want to play forever!
Hey! If you're talking about this color guide, I'm pretty much inactive on the forum, so I probably won't work on it more on my own time. However, if there's a color combination you want to see in particular, I can get it for you.  If you're asking about updates for Cattails itself, the developer (FalconDevelops) has said that the game is pretty much considered finished. While not impossible, it's highly unlikely that the game will ever get an update  . Hope you and your family are enjoying playing Cattails, though! Hi!! I haven't done extensive work on gathering custom colony coats, but I'll go get Mango x Siamese for you. It'll probably be up within an hour of this post. I don't really know what you mean about "information" about pelts with custom colonies, though? They pretty much work the same as the pelts of other NPCs. But if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask! I do keep track of the info personally! This is pretty much a solo project, so yeah, the developer isn't involved. However, I'm afraid I don't have anywhere near as refined a system as a spreadsheet! I just take the screenshots and compile them all into one image. Thanks so much for your support! Even though I don't update it much at all anymore, I'm glad people are still getting use out of this guide.  |

I don’t know if that makes any more sense than previously - I’m having a hard time making this make sense 😅 Anyway - I’m guessing if you had the pelt colors of the custom colony marriageable cats x player obtained pelt it would be on your generator!! But I have run into an issue a few times when I put in 2 different cats, it says “these are the same coats, their kittens will look the same.” Something along those lines. Is this an error or does it mean you haven’t discovered those colors yet? |

Are you looking for combinations with each custom NPC's default colors? Anything I have for those will be under the NPCs pelt colors (Ruddy for Mango, Gray/White for Sunshine, and Black Calico for Claw). I haven't done any work looking for these extensively, and off the top of my head the only ones I think I have with those pelts are the pairings with Arthur and Scout (/Brown Tiger). Back when I was still actively working on this, I was trying to tackle the most popular NPCs first, so I just never got around to doing much more than those two. Anyway - I’m guessing if you had the pelt colors of the custom colony marriageable cats x player obtained pelt it would be on your generator!! Is this an error or does it mean you haven’t discovered those colors yet? Hmm... It's hard to say. What probably happened was that it meant to say something like "sorry, I don't have that pairing yet" but the generator likes to mix up the error messages and I've never been able to fix that. Sometimes it'll spit out an error when it should show you a combination, though it's not as common and seems to be related to what order you put in the coats. The only things that are really in there are Arthur and Scout combos, with a bit of Krampy and Luna, so honestly the majority of them don't have combos. If it tells you it doesn't have a combination when you think it should, try switching their orders around. If it still gives you an error, try refreshing the page. If it still gives you an error, then it's probably just missing. If you really want any specific pair, again, it's no hassle for me to collect one (or even a few) lol. Sorry you're running into problems with it, though! Those text errors almost kept me from posting it in the first place but I hope they aren't too much of a hindrance :').
