Robinheart held back a sigh. "Someone asked if Auntie and Uncle played any games with her, she said her favorite was kill the Clan cat. Your mother and father taught her that, and no doubt raised you the same. It's enough to prove you've got something you're not telling us. At least, enough to not make you welcome in MistClan." Robinheart mewed, satisfied with her proof. She noticed Jackal digging her claws in the ground and felt a bit of sympathy. A rouge like her would never understand Clan cats, she thought. In her eyes, we must be the rude ones. Well, that still doesn't make them welcome to just live here all of a sudden.

Flintstar nodded, agreeing with his warriors. "Everyone has spoken, and I agree. No one trusts you. At least to us, you speak nothing but lies. Leave, and do not come back. My warriors will chase you out if you dare set paw on our territory again. Got it?" he asked. "Be gone," he commanded, not waiting for an answer. It was a mostly rhetorical question anyway.

Jackal looked Featherstorm in the eye as she spoke, "Berry comes" she said, standing up to leave.

She stared at Jackal, who had just said 'Berry comes' she hissed and disagreed. "Berrykit will be raised here, no questions about it, you cats clearly aren't fit to raise a innocent kit like her. You will not take her, if your kin with her or not, she stays here."She growled, picked Berrykit up and when over to Bobtail. "What disrespectful cats they are, coming into our camp and expecting to just,  take Berrykit out of nowhere and live here after they have told us nothing but lies." She murmured to Bobtail.

Flintstar nodded. "Yes, get Rippleshadow and one other warrior to escort them. Where Berrykit lives is up to Berrykit. If Berrykit wants to stay and the rouges want her back, their mother and father can meet me at the border in 2 sunrises and we can see what we can do," he said, not knowing what to hope for. Featherstorm and many more would be upset if the kit left, but the rouges might cause trouble if they stayed.

Bobtail nodded, her neck fur bristling. “I don’t know who they are,” she hissed, “or what they’re doing, but they are not welcome here.” She never took her eyes off the rouges, and her ears were bent back as far as they could go.

She dropped Berry. "Flinstar, you can't be serious, those cats can't just walk in here and take Berrykit." She looked at Berrykit, on the verge of wanting to claw someone in the face, which wasn't a usual thing for her. "Berrykit? Stay here with Featherstorm and we can play together every day with Birdkit and Bobtail, and we can eat fresh prey, like doves. We can live a good life here Berry. Your family won't provide you with that. Stay here, for me?" She pleaded.

She nodded calmly. "If that is what you want, yes. Maybe this she-cat would like to escort us?" She meowed flicking her tail towards Featherstorm. "Berry, you can't leave your kin. Surely even clan-cats respect being with their kin? I am happy they took you in but now it is time you returned to your family"

Jackal was close to raking her claws over Featherstorm's eyes, but she resisted. What gave these cats the right to decide!?

Flintstar cocked his head at Dew's suggestion. "What? No. If Berrykit wants to stay, Featherstorm's looking after her. Blazeheart can," he said. What he truthfully wanted was for Berrykit's caretaker not to return to the camp injured or worse, in case the kit stayed and the rouges decided to fight. He walked out of the den and brought the others with him, as it was getting crowded. "Berrykit, where do you want to stay? With MistClan, or the rouges?"

Bobtail flicked her ear. She said nothing, her gaze suddenly calm as she stared at the rouges. She personally hoped Berrykit would stay. The kit hadn’t been here long, but she was adorable and loved playing with her and Birdkit. If she leaves, I’ll miss her. She thought. She waited for everything to be settled.

She padded over to Feaherstorm and sat beside her. "My little Berry. I wish you didnt have to chose. I could have stayed here and lived with you, but your friends don't want me. They think our family is dangerous. Surely you dont want to be with the cats who are worried you will attack them?" She meowed smoothly. "Berry, you have to chose between her," twitches tail towards Featherstorm, "Or me."

Berrykit had closed her eyes and listened to it, wanting to screech, "It's just a game!" and, "Stop it, I need to talk!" but she knew it would make things worse. "I-I don't know, but I think I need to talk, and tell both sides. Rouges are not bad. They just live in small groups, and are just different. They are just like Clans battling. They need the territory and food for their families or groups." She saw the smirks on Dew and Jackal's faces. "But rouges think this way about Clan cats too. Auntie and Uncle and Dewy did teach it to me, but they also had rivalries with the Clan, and because the bigger Clan needed more food and space, the rouges assumed that the Clan was arrogant and greedy. But now that I've lived with both, I know both sides of the stories. And my opinion is this: I think they are both unfair. Given the choice...I choose to live here, but visit my family." She sighed. "I hope you understand, both of you."

"NO!" She screeched at Berry. She growled softly and glared at Featherstorm. Slowly she stalked menacing up to the she-cat. "It's all your fault. And you're going to pay." She hissed softly so only Featherstorm could hear. She stood up tall then signaled with her tail for Jackal. "I will be back every 3 sunrises to visit her. Comeon Jackal, I guess we must leave." She padded towards the entrance and looked down at Berry, she shakes her head disappointed. Sighing she waited for a patrol to escort them to the border.

Berrykit called out at Dew. "DEWY!! I WANT YOU TO BRING AUNTIE AND UNCLE AND VISIT ME EVERY OTHER SUNRISE!!" She screamed at Dew and Jackal. "REMEMBER! EVERY OTHER SUNRISE! BRING AUNTIE AND UNCLE!"
