I’m probably going to be very bad at describing this but hopefully people will get the gist

Ok so, I was watching a video of someone playing Cattails (can’t remember what video) and the player’s minimap in the top left hand corner was like, complete? It showed what the terrain looked like on the tile & it showed water sources, as well as prey & plants.

How do I get this? I’ve upgraded all my skills to the max but my minimap is all green with the red dots for prey and yellow for herbs, and it has never shown the layout of the tile nor where the water is? Is this a glitch in my copy of the game or is it some kind of upgrade I’m missing? Any tips would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance! <3

This is a screenshot from my game, you can see the little map in the corner shows me where I am on the map and where prey & plants are, but it doesn’t show water or the cliffs?

Ok I did find it, it’s from a vid on YouTube titled ‘Mining in Very Hard Mode (1-100) | Cattails: Become a Cat!’ by Aaiknn

The image is a little blurry but you can see the minimap clearly shows the water? Something that my map has never ever done and I have no clue if this is a normal thing or not

Press [esc], go into video, and turn FancyMap on.
To see the prey, you have to have level 10 in the hunting skill, and to see herbs, you have to have level 10 in foraging. They show up regardless of whether FancyMap is on.
