When I first bought cattails I had managed to get almost half of the items for the pillars on the first day and after I almost managed to beat the story mode. Notice how I said almost. I have never managed to get or find a cardinal but after some looking some have said that you can get it in the winter festival. So I spent most of the time trying to find it but never have. I think it may be a glitch in my game. But if people know whet to do please answer this post! I love this game but that glitch has almost made me stop.

Cardinals are intentionally very rare. They are, however, slightly more common at The Orchard (just south of the Sacred Temple)!

If you're still having trouble try raising the difficulty it usually seems to make more rare things spawn

Are there places where the rare bugs spawn more often? I've never seen a blue ladybug, lunar butterfly or a black firefly.
