Howdy! While coming to the Switch is a big step, it's also kinda... disappointing? Being released on a new console doesn't seem to fit well with the hype surrounding an ominous date. I was hoping for word of an update or new suggested features being implemented, maybe even modding?

We did also announce not one but 2(!) updates to the game on PC/Mac today. The first, v1.2, is available right now. It's a technical update that required us to redo a lot of the code base, so it was a big chunk of work. The second is scheduled for the end of the year and will include some new content. Ah, thank you for the swift reply! I counted the first update as just a bug fix overhaul + some aesthetic. I'm eager for a hint of the new content though! I suppose I was just a little disappointed over hearing about a "small" update without hints for hype.

Will the Switch version get the new planned update as well when it comes out? Or is it something that will be rolled out at a later date?

Will the Switch version get the new planned update as well when it comes out? Or is it something that will be rolled out at a later date? Our current plan is to provide the content update for Switch as well as PC. We're still very new to all this console-business though, so we'll see how it goes! |
