I've been pretty crafty recently, and I wanted to show what I've made!
1. Tie Dye Shirt
This one took a couple of days to complete. I got this from a tie dye kit that I bought from Five Below. I followed the instructions to make a swirl design, and then I applied the colors that I wanted on there. The part that took the longest was letting it dry. After the dye sat for a while, all I had to do was rinse it in the sink until the water ran clear and dry it in the dryer. Here is the finished product!

2. Season-Themed Painted Shelf
When I was born, my grandmother bought a shelf for my sister and I, and she painted them according to our birth month (October). Since that was nearly 21 years ago, I wanted something a little more grown up to be on the shelf. First, I painted over what was originally on there with a deep purple (since the walls in my bedroom are blue, and purple and blue is a good color combination). Then, since I still wanted it to be painted by my grandmother, I drove it to her house. Over the next several days, we worked on it together. I would have liked to see what she could have done to it on her own, but since she is nearly 85 years old now, her ability isn't what it used to be. Besides that, now I've created a memory of painting that shelf with her. I chose seasons for the theme, with Autumn being the dominant one (since I was born in the fall and it's my favorite season). I'd say that I'm really happy with the results!

3. Beach in a Jar
This project was the quickest to finish out of all of these. All it required was a jar, sand, blue, green, and clear pebbles, seashells, and light blue ribbon. I went on a beach vacation a few months ago and was able to bring home real sand and seashells, but you can find craft sand and fake shells at Walmart or a craft store. Once I had all the items, the process only took about five minutes. It was quick and simple, but I like how it turned out!
