Tips for Training Kittens

I need some tips for training kittens. The more tips the better because I'm using them to make a tutorial/guide video. If you have some please post them here. I also need them kind of quickly because I am going to try to get the video out before college classes start back up for me.

Also, I can't remember how long it takes for kittens to be old enough to leave the den with you, from birth.

Take them to the normal mines, usually they will level up on the verge of death from levels 3~4.

I started on an outline. So far, I only have the basic information. I finally reached the point on one of my saves to where the kittens are old enough to start training. I'm going to train them and see what tips I can pick up while I'm doing that. For now, here is what I have written:

I. Basic Training Information:

                    1) Age:
                                           • Your kittens will have to reach a certain age in order to begin training. They will become of age about two seasons after their birth.
                                    • They age at different rates. In other words, one kitten may be ready for training earlier than another.
                                    • When enough time has passed, a box with “Let’s Talk” and “Follow Me” options will show up when you speak with them. This indicates that they have reached the right age.
                   2) Taking them Out:
                                           • Talk to them and choose “Follow Me”
                                               - You can only take one kitten out at a time
                                    • To return them to their nests, talk to them again and choose “Return to den.”
                   3) The Meters:
                                          • When you interact with them, two meters will appear in the bottom left corner. The top bar will be red with zero notches, while the one underneath it will be uncolored with ten notches.
                                    • The top bar represents your kitten’s health. It will decrease when your kitten is attacked.
                                    • The bottom bar represents your kitten’s level of XP. It will increase as they hunt, fight, and forage.
                   4) Hunting:
                                          • First, find some prey.
                                    • Stalk the prey and get close to it, as if you were going to catch it yourself.
                                    • Wait. Your kitten will pounce on it and attempt to catch it.
                                    • If they catch the prey, they will bring it to you. When given to you, green text will show up that reads: “Got (insert type of prey here)”
                   5) Foraging:
                                           • First, find an herb or a plant to harvest.
                                    • Get closer to it.
                                    • Wait. Your kitten will see it and pick it up.
                                    • Once they pick it up, they will bring it to you. Green text will show up that reads: “Got (insert herb here)”
                  6) Fighting:
                                         • Go to a location where a battle is taking place.
                                   • Your kitten will engage with the enemies on its own and begin attacking them.

I would say instead of ‘zero notches’, maybe say ‘no notches’ instead? It just seems kinda weird to me.

Eh. I'll worry about proofreading when I go to make the video. This is just something to go by for right now. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

I just got done with my kitten training session for the night. I trained one kitten all the way, while the other three aren't old enough to leave the den yet. Mining is definitely the way to go. One trip in the mine was all it took for this kitten.

Some people might want to switch it up, though, so I should still come up with tips that don't involve mining.

Hmm, if I'm going to suggest mining in this video, then making a Mining Tip video would probably be a good idea. That might be the next one on the list after this one.
