The Future of Cattails?

I really love cattails and I think that if in the next few updates there are more colony's and cats, and maybe even a bigger map? I don't know but what do you guys think?

I'd love if there was a bigger map and more cats. I think it'd be quite a bit of work for Falcon and the team,though. Maybe he'll consider that in the future though. who knows what the next update will be?

If there was a new update, I'd really want them to balance the darn mines. It takes a ton of resources and time to get to a point where it even starts to become worthwhile to go down there.

Otherwise, more cats and a bigger map would be nice. Either that, or make mods possible. At that point, we could add in all the extra stuff we want ourselves!

I think it would be cool if, after you completed the main story, you could somehow go to another island, where you could set up another base (you could go back and forth between islands still) and start claiming land there. There would be more "bad" cats like some pirates and such. You would need to fight cats like that to gain more land. And maybe there would be more valuable things, to give you a reason to go there. Maybe more story. idk

I think a bigger map and more cats would be fun, but new colonies don't particularly appeal, and it'd be a lot of work for Falcon, most likely. Maybe someday he could though.

Its a struggle because im about 60 hours in and I've done so much so its tough to find motivation to do more. I'm not sure what an expansion of the game would look like but I'm hoping there are plans to add content. Cause the base game is great ^^

If they do update it I want to be able to marry Oracle! Ideally I'd want every NPC cat in the game to be marriagable.

Some DLC might be nice like a mining overhaul or even a family oriented interactions patch would do so much to enrich the game.

Preferably free but hey, everyone needs to pay rent somehow, and I certainly wouldn't mind paying an extra buck for that.

Most if not all those ideas are pretty good.If I were to add a few things it would be the following:
-Multiplayer using port forwarding supporting up to 4 players. It sounds pretty realistic tbh. Maybe add some emotes to supplement it as well.
-The combat system is currently pretty meh as it is rn. Maybe introduce pouncing in combat, that might add a bit of flavor in that part of the game.
-Allow us to have meaningful interactions with NPCs, especially the player character's spouse or children. i think cats like cuddles here.

'emotes' are appalling, and the biggest problem with multiplayer would likely be the singular player den everywhere.

I just found this on sale in the eShop and got it. I’m a huge cat lover, and am so excited to dive in. This will be a nice compliment to the many other cat games I’m playing. As far as the future goes, are there any plans to someday bring this to mobile? I’d happily buy it again if I could take it with me in my pocket! Thanks for the awesome game.

i believe it is on the switch, which kinda counts, but i don't think it's on any other consoles yet. personally, i'd like it to have mods available, as that would mean falcon wouldn't actually have to add as many of those updates, and we could have custom stuff

I personally think mod support should be added, first of all.

Then, I think all (cat) NPCs should be marriagable. I would also love more personality and depth to the NPCs in game. As of right now, they feel quite shallow and you learn little about them from dialogue. An expansion to the map would also be great--perhaps you could go to the city?

I think that modding support would be a great addition to the game. I'd love to be able to add my own custom prey, update map tiles, or see more advanced hunting mechanics in play. Other things I'd like to see is just...more content. Perhaps traveling to other maps, if he doesn't want to update the current one?
