Tawnystar nodded. "Maybe she could just hunt with Sedgefang and Duststone for the day. I was going to send them on their first hunting patrol as warriors, she suggested. She also felt that this would be good experience for the two newly named warriors for when they had their own apprentices one day. Besides, Sedgefang and Duststone could probably help her if she needed it. They should be able to anyway. They had just received their warrior names, after all. (Shortee)

Cougarstar:

Cougarstar nodded in agreement before sighing and shaking his head. "Can somebody get that useless odd-eyed sack of skin back in here so we can continue without having to threaten our medicine cat with cacti?"Cougarstar glared at Camel, who was already halfway back to his den.

Camel:

"YOU'LL NEVER KILL ME WITH YOUR BORING RAMBLINGS COUGARSTAR, FOR I SHALL SLEEP THROUGH IT!" And with that Camel sprinted the rest of the short distance to his den, and curled up comfortably.

Cloudstep:

"YOU'LL NEVER KILL ME WITH YOUR BORING RAMBLINGS COUGARSTAR, FOR I SHALL SLEEP THROUGH IT!" Camel's voice rang out around camp like an echo in a cave. Sightng and getting out of her nest calmly, Cloudstep padded over to Camel's den,grabbed him by the tail, and dragged him through the clearing into Cougarstar's den. Much to Camel's verbal objection. "I think you dropped this" she remarked to Cougarstar with a smirk, before heading out of camp to hunt by the swampclan border. Camel's voice still complaining as she left " Whell how come SHE gets to leave?"

Wasptail:

Congratulating the newly made warriors, Wasptail headed out of camp to hunt by the border, thoughts buzzing in his head with little time for him to sort them. Reaching the border rather quickly, he spotted a desert hare awfully close to the border. The second it crossed over, it was his to take. Or perhaps he could, move it along a little faster. Stalking right along the edge of the border, Wasptail grabbed a stick ad threw it, the fallen branch landing with a thump scarring the hare, wich ran away from the sudden noise right across the border.

Leopardfoot listened to Cougarstar, Camel, and Cloudstep without saying anything. He really wasn't sure what to say. How was he supposed to contribute to a conversation like that? He for sure didn't know. He was just waiting for instructions on what to do at this point.

Sparrowclaw waited in a cold silence as Cloudstep dragged Camel back to his original place. He gave her a slight nod of approval before looking back at the medicine cat. After a moment of just a cold glare, he turned his gaze to Cougarstar and asked, "Why did we let him become medicine cat again?"

Hollystripe purred happily and replied, "That's a great idea. Let me just go tell her real quick~" The dark tabby she-cat hurriedly walked over to her apprentice. "Terrapinpaw~" She said, her voice filled with her usual joy. "I will be escorting  Tawnystar to receive her nine lives. You will be going on patrol with Duststone and Sedgefang. Is this alright with you?"  (Aaiknn)

Cougarstar:

"I ask myself that question every day" he said shaking his head as he quickly sketched out a touch map of the territories in the earth. "I say we build this storage unit here" he marked an X along where the border was. "close enough to be easily accessed, but far enough away so it's only available to those who know where to look" he continued, ignoring Camel as the Sphinx cat sulked in the corner. Cougarstar drew a curved line from the camp, through cactus meadow, passing through the X, and entering through the backer end of swampclan. "This is the route I was considering, however the length of the trip is a large factor as to why we shouldn't do this" he explained, his ear twitching at Camel's uninterested groan. "IF YOU'RE DONE, PLEASE GO FETCH YOUR APPRENTICE. AT LEAST SHE WON'T COMPLANE LIKE AN ELDERLY QUAIL, AND MIGHT ACTUALY CONTRIBUTE TO THE CONVERSATION!!!" Cougar star snapped, shouting at Camel and just barely restraining himself from raking his claws through the Medicine cat's hare less flesh.

Camel:

"IF YOU'RE DONE, PLEASE GO FETCH YOUR APPRENTICE. AT LEAST SHE WON'T COMPLANE LIKE AN ELDERLY QUAIL, AND MIGHT ACTUALY CONTRIBUTE TO THE CONVERSATION!!!"
Camel was taken by surprise by his leader's sudden outburst, but to avoid becoming a murder victim he nodded and scrambled out of the den "SILTPAW YOU'RE TAKING MY PLACE IN THIS MEETING ALSO I'M GOING TO HIDE IN THE OASIS DON'T TELL COUGARSTAR WHERE I AM I THINK HE WANTS TO KILL ME OK BYE!" Camel shouted before sprinting out of camp all the way to the oasis.

Terrapinpaw(SwampClan apprentice):
As the meeting was dismissed, the tortoiseshell padded over to Hollystripe’s position and wanted to ask for today’s training. She saw Tawnyheart, or Tawnystar soon, speaking with her mentor and decided to wait until their conversation ends.

The she-cat was called to attention by the dark-furred warrior. “Oh, okay,” she replied with a slight nod, then made her way back to the newly made warriors.

Hollystripe watched for a moment as Terrapinpaw walked over to the new warriors. A little bit of pride touched her heart. She then quietly walked back over to Tawnystar and said happily, "I'm ready whenever you are!"

Duststone heard someone walk up to the two brothers. Looking down, he noticed it was Terrapinpaw. "Oh, hey!" He said to her with genuine friendliness, "What's up?"

Sparrowclaw watched Camel in annoyance. However, a small hint of worry hit him. What if Siltpaw messed up something? That would embarrass him and her greatly. His face slowly went to a frown as he waited for his daughter to come.

Terrapinpaw(SwampClan apprentice):
“Hello, ...Duststone And Sedgefang,” Terrapinpaw dipped her head at them. The she-cat nearly forgot to call the brothers with their new names but stopped herself in time. “Hollystripe is accompanying Tawnyheart to receive her nine lives, so I am told to join a patrol with you two.” The apprentice said, when mentioning the two she-cats, she turned to look at them briefly.

Tawnystar patiently waited for Hollystripe to inform Terrapinpaw about going with Sedgefang and Duststone on the hunting patrol today. "Great, let's go ahead and get going. It's quite a journey, and I would like to get there as soon as possible," she said. The she-cat never liked to be away from her clan for too long. Especially now that she was leader.

Sedgefang
Sedgefang was thrilled to hear that Terrapinpaw was assigned to go with him and Duststone on a hunting patrol. "Sounds great!" he happily meowed. He was happy to be able to go with his former denmate. (Shortee, Aaiknn)

Hollystripe smiled happily and replied, "I'm ready to when you are!" She was literally bouncing with joy at the thought of traveling.

Duststone smiled softly. "Let's get going then. With all three of us, we can surely obtain a lot of prey!" He lead his two companions out of the camp with a new found confidence. Glancing over his shoulder, he asked, "Where should we go?"

The young cat followed the two warriors. At Duststone’s question, she hadn’t been to the whole of SwampClan territory enough to know about areas with the most or plumpest prey found, so she kept silent and looked at Sedgefang, a sign for him to answer.
