"I, Salimanderstar, leader of swampclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as a warrior in their turn.
Sedgepaw, Dustpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Sedgepaw stood proudly as Salimanderstar said the ceremony words. "I do," he responded when it was his turn to speak.

Dustpaw had a humble tone as he replied, "I do." He stood calmly, able to hold back his excitement.

Salimanderstar:

"Then by the powers of starclan I give you your warrior names. Sedgepaw, from this moment on, you will be known as Sedgefang. Starclan honours your devotion and humor. Dustpaw, from this moment on, you will be known as Duststone. Starclan honours your skil and creativity, and we welcome you both as full warriors of swampclan"

Salimanderstar leaped off the rocks and rested her muzzle on both of their foreheads in turn.

Ivyfoot/Swampclan Warrior

Ivyfoot Looked over to the newly named warriors, soon the gathering of the cats started to chant their new names, Ivyfoot joined in " Sedgefang!! Duststone!!" she chanted with the other cats around her.

Tawnyheart cheered for Dustpaw and Sedgepaw, or Duststone and Sedgefang now. "Duststone! Sedgefang!" she cheered. She was equally proud of both of them. They had trained well, even if Sedgefang was a little silly at times. He had proven to be a fine apprentice, and he would probably be a fine warrior.

"Sedgefang! Duststone" Sedgefang called out. Even though it was his own warrior ceremony, and his brother's, he couldn't help calling out the names with everyone else. He was just so excited to finally be a warrior.

[Aaiknn]

Terrapinpaw chanted the two warriors’ new names along with her clanmates, one of the rare occasions to hear her voice loudly. ”They’re warriors now! But that also means I’ll become the sole apprentice of SwampClan... and there are no kits to be apprenticed soon... or at all.” The mottled she-cat turned her amber gaze towards the empty nursery and thought.

The young apprentice quickly spun her head back to her former denmates to avoid questions, and noticed that Sedgefang was also calling his and his littermate’s name with the crowd. Terrapinpaw gave an internal huff of amusement on the inside.

Duststone's eyes shimmered with happiness and pride when receiving his new warrior name. However, his silent achievement was interrupted by Sedgefang's own congratulations of himself. He shook his head affectionately and, actually, joined in with him.

Whisperpaw gave a purred but didn't say anything. Hopefully the new warriors didn't take it the wrong way. She wasn't the type of cat who chanted at every ceremony.

Sedgefang purred as Duststone joined in with him in congratulating themselves. "We're warriors!" he said to his brother proudly. (Shortee)

Duststone smiled happily. He said to his brother, "We should go on a patrol as warrior, don't you think?" He glanced at Tawnyheart as he said this.

[🌿 ~ Spottedleaf ~ 🌿]

Tawnyheart overheard Duststone talk to Sedgefang about going on patrol. Oh, right. I have to organize those things she reminded herself. Sedgefang and Duststone would be on them for sure.

"I hope Tawnyheart lets us go. It'll be our first patrol as a warrior!" Sedgefang said with excitement in his eyes. (Shortee)
