MIGRATERS ROLEPLAY

INTRODUCTION:
Once upon a time, there was a forest. It may sound like any ordinary forest, but it seemed different because of its astonishing beauty. Each season held its own source of this beauty. Summers offered an endless display of lush greenery. Everything was in full bloom, from the thousands of trees that reached their arms up high toward the sky to the bed of grass that spread all over the ground. Summers were noticeably hot, but the trees overhead kept the areas nicely shaded.

Soon enough in the year, summer cooled down and the season of autumn began. Autumn always brought a rainbow of color to the land. All the trees changed their hair. What once was green became gorgeous new colors. Instead of being lush with green, the forest was a new beauty with various shades of red, autumn, and yellow. The weather was cooler after the sunset and before the sunrise, but it was still quite comfortable in between those times.

As more time passed, the trees shed their colorful wigs. The weather had turned colder and brought frost to the earth. After the frost, everything was bare. The leaves had all fallen to the ground, and the grass had browned. Everything would remain this way until the new season. There was still a beauty to this season better known as winter, however. Sometimes the sky dropped white flakes onto the land. If the ground was cold enough, these flakes stuck to it. With everything covered in white, everything seemed so peaceful. It seemed like a different kind of tranquility than without. With everything covered in white snow, everything in the forest felt so innocent and pure.

After the cold and snowy winter, the season of spring was always welcomed. The season of spring brought everything new. Everything that was dead in winter came alive again. The grass grew back, and so did the trees. After all that was dead, it was nice to see some green again. Also, with the growth of the vegetation, spring brought warmer and much more comfortable weather. It was a rainier season than most, but it was still a welcomed time.

The forest offered more than gorgeous scenery. It was also a place to live. It was the natural habitat of a wide diversity of creatures. The forest sheltered prey and predators, but it was still home to both all the same.

For something specific, the forest was home to a group of cats. These cats had lived there for many, many generations. They grew up together and took care of each other. They made sure that no one went hungry and that everyone was healthy. It was a great time for all of them.

However, nothing this great can last forever. One day, a great destruction began. Suddenly, trees started disappearing. Every day, there would be more open space than there was the day before. As each day went by, the destruction got closer and closer to where the cats camped.

As the destruction neared, the cats had to plan on what to do. Their initial plan of just waiting it out to see what happened was clearly doing no good. So, they had to form a new plan. It was a tough decision, but eventually they decided that it was best to leave what had been their home for so long. With the cats being so reliant on the trees for shelter, it seemed like the wisest option. Not only that, but there was getting to be less and less prey to eat. If they stayed, they would have to face hunger like they never had to before. Therefore, it was settled. The cats were going to leave the forest.

That day has come now. The time has come to leave. It was a dreaded time that kept getting closer and closer, and now it has arrived. No one knows exactly where they will go, but they must leave now. The only thing they know for sure now is that they will have to rely on each other more than ever. If they want to make it to a new place safely, they would have to work together. As of now, they were no longer forest dwellers. Now, they were migraters.

MORE INFORMATION
The roleplay picks up right where the introduction story leaves off. It starts with the cats beginning their journey to wherever they might land. If you read this information put “Let the journey begin” for the password section in your application.

TERRITORY:
Will be filled out as time goes on in the roleplay.

RANKS:
Leader: the leader is the cat who is in charge of the group. They make the final decision for big situations. During the journey, this cat is the one in the front. They lead the way.
Lead Assistant: the Lead assistant is the one who helps the Leader. They help make sure everything is going smoothly, and they help with decision making. During the journey, this cat makes sure everyone is keeping up.
Medic Cat: the Medic Cat has all the knowledge about medicine. They care of the sick and wounded cats. Throughout the journey, they are in charge of their regular duties as well as making sure everyone is healthy enough for travel. If not, then they must alert the leader.
Members: the standard-ranked cats. They might not have a high rank, but they are very important. They are in charge of hunting and keeping the group well-fed. They are also the group's main defendants if threats show up. During migration, they are in charge of these duties as well as keeping their eyes and ears open for danger. If they sense it, they must immediately alert the leader.
Trainees:the Trainees are younger members who are just starting to learn how to hunt and fight. Cats in this rank are six months to twelve months of age. Aside from learning, their duties are pretty much the same as standard members. However, they are also in charge of helping with the kittens, queens, and elders especially during travel.
Queens: Queens are cats who are either expecting or nurturing kittens. They are the ones mainly in charge of looking after the kittens during the journey, with the help of the Trainees.
Kittens: Kittens are simply just kittens. They are to stay with their mothers at all time, and when the group finds temporary settlement they mustn't leave the group. Kittens are old enough to be Trainees when they are six months of age.
Seniors: Seniors are cats who have retired from their duties. They may have retired due to old age, or they could have been forced to retire early for health or other reasons.
Other: Cats in the "Other" rank are cats who are not initially part of the group. These are cats the group may meet up with while they are on their journey.

ROLEPLAY RULES:
1. All forum rules apply.
2. These cats are loners, so no warrior cat names allowed.
3. Keep appearances realistic and make sure all your characters have some flaws.
4. You may have as many cats as you like, but you must keep up with them.
5. Please refrain from one-liners.
6. No major plot changes without asking me.
7. I understand that life gets busy, but please let me know if you will be absent.
8. The password is under the “More Information” section of this post.
9. Ask before making an "Other" ranked cat. I just don't want there to be too many.

The group has made it to the river. After inspecting it, Iris has figured out that it's shallow enough to wade across. Some cats might still need help, though.

ALLEGIANCES

Leader:
Iris- Iris is a medium-sized she-cat with medium-long fur. Iris's fur is mostly gray, but in the right light it looks blue. Although her fur isn't super long, it is still very soft. Her nose, inner ears, and paw pads are gray, only slightly darker than her overall appearance. She has bluish-green eyes.

Iris is a strong and noble leader. She has had a hard past, which she doesn't like to talk or think about much. However, without those hard times she wouldn't be who she is now. The hardships have only made her stronger. Her past and how far she's come since then is part of the reason why a lot of cats look to her as leader. Despite anything she goes through, Iris will not mope around. She will pick her head up and keep going. Life goes on, after all.

With that being said, Iris may not always say when something is bothering her. She will if it will benefit the group, but if it is just a personal issue she will usually keep her mouth shut. She is usually good at hiding when she is bothered by something, but sometimes others pick up on it. Especially those who know what she went through. (Continued...)

Iris is undeniably loyal. Of course, that should be a given trait with being a leader, but still. She feels that the group is the only major part of her life that has any deep meaning to her. Because of that, she will do whatever takes to protect the group and the members in it. She will sacrifice her life if it became necessary. While she is loyal, Iris might get reckless from time to time when she fails to realize that what she's going after is way too dangerous to risk anything for.

When it comes to interacting with others, Iris tries to be kind. She is often quiet and reserved when she is talking casually. When she has to step up and act as leader, she comes out of her shell more. She is very fair and usually has good judgement. Before doing big actions, she usually tries to work it out with the entire group. In other words, she doesn't like doing something without consulting everyone about it first. Sometimes, though, if there is something that the majority disagrees with and she strongly believes they should do, she will probably just do it her way. In the end, however, Iris is a pretty likeable cat.

The blue-gray she-cat doesn't know what to think about this journey, but as the leader of it she tries to think positively about it. She doesn't exactly know where to go either, but she feels that if she just trusts her instincts on which direction to take, then it will lead to their new home. Iris also can't help looking at this whole deforestation thing as a negative. She feels that, like everything else, this has happened for a reason.

Lead Assistant:
Stone- Stone is a silver Maine Coon with black stripes, a black tail, and piercing yellow eyes.

Stone can be very flirty at times and enjoys socializing. Despite his friendly nature, he loves climbing trees and the solitude of it. He talks to Aurora about them a lot. He has a large fear of embarrassment and tries to avoid it at all costs. He is also a great fighter. He is 2 years and 7 months. (Shortee )

Medic Cat:
Foxglove- Foxglove is a she-cat with jet-black short fur. She has a fold in her left ear and has pinkish-purple eyes.

Foxglove is pesimistic and secluded. She prefers to keep to herself. As a medic, she likes fiddling with poisons, and she knows so much it's scary sometimes. She dislikes children. She is 6 years and 9 months (TheMysticHeart )

Medic Assistant:
Obsidian- Obsidian is a white cat with black turkish van markings and wheat-colored eyes.

Obsidian is a kind, comical cat. She enjoys joking around quite a bit, and she likes teasing kittens and trainees. She takes her duties seriously, however. Obsidian almost always has witty remarks to sarcastic cats, and she won't regret them either. She is 2 years and 5 months. (sensible )

Puremist- Puremist is a petite, misty white she-cat with mist colored eyes. Most think she is blind, but she has sharp vision. She often wears a lily resting on her right ear above her head, to complement her name and looks.

Puremist acts like a princess and a spoiled brat when she doesn't get her way. When a cat calls her by her unwanted nickname, she usually gets all flustered and retorts by calling them a fur ball. In battle, she is shy but carries out orders with grace and precision. Due to her shyness, she avoids giving out orders, even though she is a brilliant tactician. Sometimes she is crankier than most days. When something keeps her up like a lightning storm, and on those days, she will give cats a blank stare or a glare when they try to speak to her. When Puremist is around kittens and beautiful things like herself, she tends to let her heightened guard down. She is 4 years and 11 months old. (Fallenstar)

Hawk- Hawk is a she-cat with pale, blonde fur and a white marking on her chest and tip of her tail. She has sharp brown eyes.

Hawk is blunt and very viligent. She is very professional and serious, strict on most occasions. She has no sense of humor on charm. Along with stubbornness, she has this undying sense of loyalty. She is 3 years and 8 months old. (Altean Doodles)

Tracker- Tracker is a hardy built tom with thick claws. He is a brownish tabby with blue eyes.

In battle, Tracker is a fast thinker and tries to always be one step ahead of his opponents, but due to his massive size, it's hard for him to gain momentum. He tends to always support his mate, even if she is wrong. His family and clan are his life. He might not speak much, but he would defend them until his last breath. He is 3 years and 3 months old. Jingo- Jingo is a small tom with a muscular-looking frame. He has a long, yet narrow face and big rounded ears. He is short-haired with glossy chocolate-brown fur. Jingo has rose-colored paw pads and a brown nose. He has very deep green eyes.

Jingo is known for his gentle nature. He is cheerful and calm, even in the roughest situations. In times like that, he tries to pick out the positives. Because of his high spirits, he is usually the one to lift others up.

Jingo is a talker, meaning he always has something to say. However, he is quick and willing to listen when others need someone to talk to. This goes hand in hand with how calm and positive he is. He is often the cat others come to when they need encouragement, or even if they just need someone to listen without being judged.

The chocolate-brown cat might seem all gentle and friendly, one who is never not pleasant to be around. However, like all cats, he sometimes gets on the nerves of others. This mostly happens because Jingo is intelligent, and sometimes he lets that get away from him. He will show off and act like a know-it-all from time to time. Although this does get annoying to others, Jingo means well.

Additionally, there are times when he gets nervous. Because he is usually seen as a very positive cat, Jingo feels like he has to hide it from others when he is nervous about something. He often hides his feelings because he feels he has to. If enough builds up, it can cause him to stress without him realizing it.

When it comes to physical skills, Jingo has a little bit of knowledge in herbs, even though he is not a Medic cat. He usually spends his time hunting, so that is what he is best at, even though his hunting skills aren't really anything to be impressed with. Jingo is 3 years old. (🌿 ~ Spottedleaf ~ 🌿 )

Soot- a dark gray long-furred tom with a white muzzle and tail-tip. He has hazel eyes.

Soot is cheerful, friendly, and talkative. He can't stand being alone, and he has a hard time adjusting to change. He often worries about his close friends and family and can seem distant while thinking about them. Soot doesn't always follow directions carefully, which can lead to him getting in trouble. He tries to be optimistic, no matter how bad the situation. He is 2 years and 4 months old. (Catsquid )

Aspen- Aspen is a white and light gray she-cat with a slender body and yellow eyes.

Aspen is a warm natured she-cat. She cares for all her clanmates and loves to hunt with her friends. She hates having to fight cats. In battle, she tries to avoid face-to-face combat. She is 1 year and 11 months old. (Fallenstar)

Trainees:

Hazel- Hazel is a light brown, sleek-furred she-cat with amber eyes. SHe has a white chest and a creamy-brown bushy tail.

Hazel is quiet and reserved, normally only confiding in her sister, Autumn. However, she is silently competitive and wishes to gain the attention of the older cats through her skills. Socially, she can hold a conversation, but not for very long. There seems to be some topics she gets nervous to speak about. Autumn's hyper personality can sometimes increase her happy mood or make her become annoyed. She is 9 months old. (Shortee )

Autumn- a small-framed she-cat with fluffy fur. Her fur is the thickest on her tail, and she has tufts of fur on the tips of her ears. She is gingerish-brown in color and is covered in tabby markings. Her chest and paws are white. She has amber eyes.

Autumn may be small in size, but she is just a big ball of energy on the inside. She is hardly ever not energetic. Along with her high energy level, she is also very curious. Her energy level mixed with a high curiosity level means she never stays in one place for too long. Autumn loves adventure and likes to discover new things and new places. Due to that, Autumn is often getting into trouble. When she gets into things, she is good at convincing her sister Hazel to do it with her. When she gets caught, she tries to act all innocent even though she knows she is guilty. This probably gets on the nerves of everyone, but especially her sister if she makes it seem like she should get all the blame. Despite this, there is no one she loves more than Hazel. She loves spending time with her, and she considers her a best friend for life. When it comes to training, Autumn finds it hard to focus. This is largely due to what was mentioned earlier about her energy. However, once she does focus she is quick at learning. Autumn is 9 months old. (🌿 ~ Spottedleaf ~ 🌿 )

Queens:
Amber- a gray, white and orange calico with black fur on her right eye, orange by her left, and mostly white on her muzzle with a black streak near her nose. Her ears are long, and her fur is very fluffy. She has dull yellow eyes that appear gray.

Amber is a very sweet and gentle she-cat that is generally happy. However, if she doesn't get her way, she can be snappy and rude. She is 2 years and 10 months old. (Shortee )

Kittens:
Lynx- Lynx is a small tom kit with medium-long haired. He is a speckled tabby with brown fur that is darker on his back and lighter on his front. His chest fur is lighter than the rest, and it has hints of white in it. Lynx's eyes are green with a yellowish tint.

Lynx is a rambunctious little kit. He is very playful and loves to have fun. More than anything, he enjoys playing with his siblings. When it comes to playing games, he gets highly competitive. That being said, he absolutely hates losing and will do anything to win the games. Sometimes, he might even try to get away with cheating. It really just depends on the game. Older cats will find him annoying, but, for the most part, his siblings don't seem to mind. He is a newborn. (🌿 ~ Spottedleaf ~ 🌿)

Casper- Casper is a calico tom kitten with patches of brown, ginger, and white. He has long, thick fur and bright yellow eyes.

Casper is a playful and happy kitten. He constantly wants to play games with his siblings and the others, and he never seems to run out of energy. He is very kind, and he will sometimes let his siblings win a game so he won't hurt their feelings. However, Casper gets bored very easily and will pester cats to play games with him non-stop, which can get annoying quickly. He doesn't pay much attention to rules, which can lead to trouble. Quill- Quill is an orange and black calico tom with dark blue eyes. He has white front paws, back legs, and chest. There are also white circles around his eyes.

Quill is a tough little cat with a big personality. He loves competition, as it seems to boost his confidence. He is very loyal to his siblings, willing to take the blame or even lie for them. He loves to move around, never seeming to run out of energy. Quill constantly finds himself getting into trouble. Aurora- Aurora is a grayish-blue she-cat with long fur and a graying muzzle. Despite her age, she has grown to be strong. She has long legs and heterochromia, having blue and green eyes. Aurora has a small scar on her front left paw from when she fell off a tree. Her nose is a dark cherry color, with a small hint of pink in it.

Aurora is a very wise cat. She learnt from others' and her own mistakes, to not repeat them again. After her incident with a tree (she fell off it), Aurora has been studying the trees to figure out which is the best one for climbing.

However, Aurora isn't only wise. She is also friendly, having been around for a long time. However, that doesn't mean she lacks a mean bone. With her age, one would believe that it isn't possible, but those are the cats who get hurt from her. Aurora is 9 years and 10 months old. (NordMyte )
Other:
Ballia- Ballia is a long-furred, deep russet and cream tabby with light blue eyes. She is hostile and edgy at first, but then she is kind and warm. Cunning and stretchy. She is 2 years and 6 months old. (siski)

Cookie- Cookie is a fluffy tortie tom with piercing blue eyes, a bobtail, and a deformed back right leg.

Cookie is cheerful and optimistic. When he accomplishes something, he is proud of it no matter what it is. He is 8 months old. (TheMysticHeart)

Abby- a dark brown she-cat with a white stomach.

Abby is really shy and quiet, so she rarely talks around other cats. Sometimes she gets out of her shell to talk to the ones that she trusts. She is 4 months old. (anawarrior )
