♦ The Gem Colony ♦
History
Amethyst was born to a family of miners. They spent days discovering different mines and gems. Once they reached the bottom of one cave, they would move on to find another. That's how she knew things to be, and she loved it. She was young when it all happened, probably around the age of eight moons. Amethyst had decided to explore the first levels of the current cave they were living near by herself, something that was strictly forbidden in her family for her to do alone. When she came back to the surface completely unharmed and with some iron, the purple and black cat was extremely proud of herself. When she ran around to brag to her family, she couldn't find them. They had vanished. They were gone.
Amethyst waited two days for them to come back to their makeshift home. They never did. She was an orphan now, and she knew it. She put some prey in her inventory that was caught previously by her parents and ran. She didn't know where she was going, she just knew she had to get away from there. After sprinting and never stopping for what seemed like days, the purple and black cat stumbled on the side of a road. When she woke up, she was greeted by a black and white cat. They showed her how to survive and she was brought to a place called The Mystic Colony. There, she truly made a difference by winning battles, hunting, and bringing home herbs. By the time years had passed, she was greatly admired, had a mate, kits, and was even able to help restore the balance.
But, Amethyst knew something else was calling her in life. She took her mate and kits away from The Mystic Colony and settled with them near the Prairie Quarry. She didn't remember much about her family, but she did remember one thing: how to mine. She set up other dens near her own, and soon new cats moved in. She taught them how to mine, and together, all of these cats created a camp made out of crystals. Amethyst had forgotten her past, but was able to bring it back to life by sharing it with others. Through it, she made something great: The Gem Colony.
Information
The Gem Colony is still thriving in the land of Cattails today. They love to mine, and focus on it more than anything else. Though, they still make time to hunt and fight. These cats don't work like a Warrior Clan. They hunt together or alone, but always keep the prey they caught for themselves or for their family.
The Gem Colony cats range in diversity. Some were born there and some are travelers. Each and every one of them has different goals that ultimately leads to the same one; being the strongest Colony. The Mystic Colony and The Gem Colony are constantly at border skirmishes as they have never forgiven Amethyst for leaving them.
The Gem Colony resides on the tile Border Prairie Center. To the left of them is the Prairie Quarry. Their camp is made out of crystal dens made from years ago, as well as protected by sharp quartz surrounding them as a wall. There are three openings to leave the camp, the only way being unable to leave is to the right, as the shrubbery and trees are too thick to walk through.

♦ Don't be one of those guys who constantly offers others (in the rp) prey or herbs to make friends. I know that's how you literally do it in Cattails, but it can be annoying.
♦Use proper grammar! I've roleplayed with many of you, so if I know for a fact you may not be the best at rereading your post, I will privately pm you about it. Don't be upset with me for doing so, it's simply so the roleplay will look nice. If you have a typo every once in awhile, not a big deal.
♦ All cats must have gem or stone related names.
♦ You can have as many cats as you can handle.
♦ If you are not going to be roleplaying for awhile, make sure to notify me. Otherwise, if you don't play as your character for five days, they will be removed.

Leader - The Leader takes care of their colony by ultimately making the final decisions and helping their cats in any way possible. They are the image of their Colony and are expected to act with dignity, especially around other Colonies.
Guard - The Guard sends out patrols to defend borders. They also assist in training younger cats in the skill of battle. They are known to help the Leader in his or her decisions at times.
Shopkeeper - The Shopkeeper gathers and sells items to the fellow members of their Colony. They always tend to know what is going on in other Colonies. At times, the Leader may use the Shopkeeper to get information on a specific Colony.
Doctor - The Doctor gathers herbs and heals cats of the Colony. They are vital to the survival of their Colony.
Regular Cats - These cats are the key role in keeping their Colony alive. These cats hunt and fight for their Colony. Some start families in order to continue the growth of their Colony.
