Best Custom Colony Capital?

Yo!

So I just got the Token of Authority, but I'm not sure where to make my capital. What are some great locations for your custom colony?

Pros? Cons? I want to know everything!

I'd say it depends on your opinion and what you like more. Im thinking about taking Beach West, since its far enough from other Colonies and i really like swimming and catching fish! Not to mention there's also a Mine close to it.
However, I'd suggest : Shady Corner, Highland Lake, Rumbling Corner, South Moor, Southern Cliffs and Beach West

Those are some great suggestions! I've actually been thinking about Shady Corner, since it's got some neat landscaping and isn't too close to the other colonies. The only problem I have with it I guess is how it's so far away from the Sacred Temple and everything else.

Edit: Do y'all think the Prairie Copse makes a good spot?

its a pretty good spot. Its right above a mine and isn't too close to the other colonies.

Im using highland lake because wouldnt we all like to be cats living in traditional(japanese[there is a pack of japanese ones]) houses ontop of mountains

I used Shady Corner for the Gemstone Colony.

I did highland lake and named my clan the astral colony. I’d recommend looking at the different styles of stuff before you build name and place your colony

I did Shady Corner in my original save file where I got all my achievements, so I have something of a soft spot for that area. However, I've been enjoying my current home in the western beach tile a lot more. You can't put your home on the water or anything, but the sand is fair game, and it's neat to think of my kitties having an awesome ocean view as soon as they walk out of their dens for the day.

I'll make my first on Hallowed Garden, Because I want to have the temple style.
I will make in Shady Corner after, because the tile is like it was made for the custom to be at.
