I always loved getting gifts from friends in games like this ( Untold tales, Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon, etc. ) since it gives you a reason to befriend a cat, one of the main aspects of the game, and makes it feel rewarding, but I have noticed a pattern recently, where I get the same gift over and over again.
On my first save I kept getting herbs, while on my second save I kept getting the same gift from Athur.
Those ungodly bluejays.
This isn't really a bad thing, I suppose I simply got "lucky" with the rng, but I was still wondering if this is a common thing or not?

I got lots of Bluejays from Robin, and lots of Doves from Pebble. Arthur mostly gives me herbs, and Leo gives me some insects. I think it's mostly random, and if you don't like the gifts, you can always reload. They may give you a different one that way.

Oh my gosh. Same. I keep getting BLUEJAYS! We must be cursed. But on the good side you can sell them for alot!!

Robins never given me anything shes just said that she hopes my cat is fitting in even though im on my 6th year and I've spent most of them in the mountain domain and my cat is married
