If I purchase coat colors on one save file, are they only available on that file or can I use them on new characters?

They're only available on that particular save file. To use them on other characters, you'll have to purchase them again.

Ahh crap, lol. I named my character based on a color so I guess I'm kind of stuck with that. I was gonna just purchase all the coat colors on this file to use for later on. I like to just use one coat color from the beginning, but oh well.
