I think it would be really cool if the pets had more functions like if you could store some of your stuff in pet backpack
I also think more pets would be really cool

I was pleasantly surprised to see them on there. I noticed the firefly doesn't light up for me. So I wouldn't mind that function, like my own little flashlight. But, I only see more awesome things for this game in the future.
