can you get struck by lightning?

This is very weird, but I'm in the Forest Colony and it's thunderstorming. Doc said 'stay out of the water, lightning likes to strike rivers and lakes!' and suddenly I wanted to be struck by lightning. I was just wondering if it's possible, and if so, where are the most common places it happens?

No, you can't. Just like the mentions of diseases and bees, you can't get struck by lightning. Although the idea would be cool, this can be a danger when in water or under trees and lamp poles during storms.
