I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I was unsure of where else. I'm pretty sure most of the players have noticed just how crazily similar the two games are: I personally don't mind it, I love both games to bits, but I'm also genuinely curious to know if cattails took inspiration from Stardew Valley or if it's purely a coincidence.

Well, if you go to Falcon's Steam account, he's played Stardew Valley so it's not far-fetched if he got some ideas for Cattails from it.

Stardew Valley is a great game, I love it. But it actually goes further back: both Cattails and Stardew Valley were inspired directly by Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, which was one of our primary inspirations.  |

But it actually goes further back: both Cattails and Stardew Valley were inspired directly by Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, which was one of our primary inspirations. Who is your favorite spouse from that game? If you don't mind me asking. HM:FOMT (and it's sister version HM:MFOMT) was a game I spent an ungodly amount of time in to the point I was staying up until 5am some days and missing school or falling asleep in class! |

Named our cat after her. Ann is a very close second. Aw, that's precious. I thought you just liked the name; it's kinda come full-circle as HM gave you inspiration for your games and as a love letter, you put Elli the cat/the HM character in game. I've loved every iteration of Elli in all the HM games to date. Very good choice. |
