NPC's Messing It Up

So... This just happened for the 4th time. 

After an Hour of looking, I finally found a Cardinal. But what happens? Scout walked right up to it and scared it off. It seems as though the only place I'm finding these rare items is when there is an NPC ready to mess it up :/

Has this happened to anyone else?

It's already hard to find these things with a 1 in 1000 chance of spawning, but when the NPC messes it up its.... crushing. I only need a cardinal for the story line. Thats it! I'm working on my third real life day trying to get one v.v

When the random rouge from another colony comes charging in at mach speed (in my colony's territory no less) to take a swipe at me while I'm near death from hunger (because of a combo mining run and battle) and trying to hunt, yeah, I get a little ragey. Almost all my deaths have been from me being too cocky/overestimating my abilities so having this kill me was probably the first time I've screeched at my computer monitor in years.

That's the worst! Luckily I haven't had a death yet, but I'm hoping it's not right after I've done something important! That does really suck though. It's not often I have stray cats come on my screen. I feel so bad for you ;-;

Oh, I have a nemesis due to this! Incredibly petty, but a random npc cat was blocking me from picking an item I wanted.



I like the River from that other game much more than you.
