So I want to do a run where you can’t fight other cats or hunt. You can only eat plants and use non violent ways to take over territories. Would this be really challenging to do? Do all the plants die in winter? Would I have to stockpile loads of berries before winter comes? If someone could give me some hints that would be really helpful, thanks

I'd recommend getting Foraging lvl 10 and the Garden upgrade. Then, plant 4 Blackberry bushes (they have a 2-day growth cycle, faster than most food-plants)
Still not sure if it would be enough to sustain through the winter, unless you buy prey from the shops (technically not hunting). Playing on easy or very easy would make it a lot more feasible though

Still very new to the game so will probz just continue my current play through for now, as this sounds very difficult. Will defoes do a pacifist run sometime in the future tho

Since scratching seems to make you hungry, and you say you aren't fighting, I think it could be possible. Might want to stockpile berries during the summer in your den to help you last through the winter o-o I kind of wanna try this now

This does sound like a pretty cool thing. While most plants die during the winter Winter Blueberries thrive, so if you find a treasure of those you can use those to power you through.

I suppose it would be possible? Maybe sleeping as early as possible during the winter and hoarding berries/licorice roots during the appropriate months. I'm assuming if you can survive your first winter, you'd do fine after that. The diplomacy part of it is pretty simple although getting the necessary skill points through just foraging alone might make that a bit more tedious. Doable but be prepared for a grind.

For taking over territories without fighting, I suggest that you buy the diplomacy skill and max it out (will tae 600 xp for al that)

Lavender helps a lot too. The mystic territory has a few areas where there's 2-3 plants of it in one area.

I have found a spot in Mountain Domain Territory with three lavender spots that I have found, if you want to know. It's called Blossom Lake. All three are close together in the upper left corner.
