Steam Won't Update Cattails

I tried to download the update for cattails but it kept saying "An error occurred while updating Cattails (missing file privileges)" Please help.

It should happen automatically. Have you tried restarting Steam or your computer?

Also make sure you're connected to the internet. Steam has offline mode and you need to be on online mode to update cattails.

Happened to me too, restarting the computer didn't do a thing.

This error has something to do with file system privileges, which means that your computer's operating system is denying Steam the rights to update the game. A few things you might try:
1. Try exiting Steam. Then, right-click the Steam icon and select 'Run as Administrator...'
2. If that doesn't work, go to Steam -> LIBRARY -> right-click Cattails -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify the Integrity of Game Files...
3. If it still isn't working, you might try reinstalling the game. First, uninstall Cattails, then reinstall it.

The update installing worked when I uninstalled and reinstalled Cattails. Thanks for your help!

Now I can't reinstall cattails to get the update installing. It says "content file locked"

I had the same problem, but I updated windows and this worked for me
