Okay so some people have told me you can in the future and that's what the "Custom" is in the middle of the map at the temple... But others say you can't at all. I figured here would be a great place to just up and ask which rumor is true? I know you can't as of RIGHT NOW (Newly launched Beta, or at least if you can- I haven't discovered it yet.) but will it be an option in the future to make your own custom group of cats? Colony, clan, whatever?
I know this isn't warrior cats but you know, your personal game is your own thing. ;3; So I like to pretend my clan cat came out to the cats of cattails due to a prophecy many generations after the main books in my own sort of personal fan fic I've messed with for something around 5+ years.~ Annnnd is trying to form something. While still working with what the game actually has. I'm even considering making a new OC named Chestnut to follow more of the actual Cattails story where a cat was left behind by their two-leg's (Humans.) rather than just coming in out of no where like my main save file, Emberstar.
But my point still stands, as much as I love some cats from each group, I do want to know if it's possible to actually make your own group as this fourth cat colonies/clan in the land of Cattails.

Ahhh, alright, thank you! ;3; A response is one thing but a response from you guys especially makes me smile. ;3; Now I can put my mind at ease wondering which rumor was the right one. Here's to hoping one day that goal (And many others) will be reached. |

I'm guessing it'll be part of the final release, which is not that far off anymore, anyway.

It will be added after launch, some time in first quarter 2018! So around new year if so imma start the countdown for 25 days. Oh and i love cattails it helps me calm down after a long day of school. my cat is cupcake i am on year 3 and I live in the forest colony and have a mate (scout) and 4 kits leafie dirt hunter and feral. i could name many amazing things that i have found in this game from secrets and human-like gestures the cats have going on. (exsamble:goverments festables totems and the temples secret.) You are probaly not going to read this but if you do i am grateful if you did. I have been on the kickstarter since June i have been waiting for 6 monthes and it's just like i hoped for(i saw your livestream but i never got the Sandy art in :[ ). I'm just sitting here trying to figure out how that'll work. There's not really room for a fourth colony, unless mountain domain gets moved to the left or right...

Maybe the temple becomes the town location for the new colony? and it spreads from there like the others do?

I'm honestly hoping you can set up your own spot on a tile. Some of the colony tiles are already set that they cannot be acquired ("the power is locked here, it can't be changed") which means the system can be fine-tuned so that you can't just plop yourself right next to Forest/Mountain/Mystic territory. I do agree that it's currently more balanced in layout with just the three colonies but it's possible expansions will be made or you'll just get to set up camp wherever. I'm kinda curious though...will we get a nameless doctor and shop keeper or will new characters (with portraits) be made? Would kinda be a let down to only have a group of nameless/faceless cats as allies.
