Will it be possible to re-texture images?

I was wondering if modding the tile sets will be possible in cattails? Sorry, I'm here asking this as I don't own the alpha version of the game, otherwise I'd just look and see for myself.
(I do mean just the environmental images, of course. The cats and their colours were a kickstarter benefit, and trying to mess with that would be super scummy. )
Pixel art is something I find super fun, and I enjoy having different palettes in games sometimes, depending on what I'm doing, or the character I'm playing with. Or themeing the look of the world around something like the fairy forest mushroom part of the map, for example. Or having a de-saturated palette for migraine days. I'd really like to have a soft rainy day world to play in, or to carry those adorable bright mushroom colours around to inspire the dens and hedges and clovers for more of a fantasy setting.
Playing games is a blast, but getting into the files and creating alternate visuals or textures (especially in pixel art games!!) is almost as much fun for me, and I was just curious if that would be possible or allowed to do in cattails.
