wew this guide gets an update Things to notice: The prices have gone down for the Forest/Mountain/Mystic shops. Ember now sells tiger butterflies instead of raspberries, while Molo/Molu have added fish--salmon/mackerel. There are two new shops: The Trading Post which is run by Peanut the Custom Colony's Shopkeeper and Custom Colony Shop by Coco. I've added an Architectural Styles and Customization Items section.

A quick question. Does anyone know if certain items are morel ikely to be gifted by certain cats? For example, would Slip be more likely to give you prey than Krampy? Just curious.

bunnihunni hm, I'm not too sure actually. Aaiknn alright, decided to try out some stuff and this is what I got-- prey isn't equal and you can't starve in your den. I've tried different difficulties but got the same numbers, the only thing that changes is how fast your hunger level goes down. %%% | Foodstuff | 25-28 | Licorice Root
| 33-35 | All mice
| 43-46 | Frogs, Toads, Berries, Trout, Sea Bass
| 46-50 | Squirrels, Crow, Dove, Turtle Meat, Salmon, Mackerel
| 53-55 | Bass, Rabbit, Hare
| 67+ | Bluejay, Cardinal, Catfish
|
Those are rough numbers, but the order shows what prey is typically more filling. It takes 4 licorice roots to hit 100%, but only 2 of any ultra rare prey. Everything else takes 3. But then this is all playing on my maxed out file, YMMV.

Most of the turtles I've caught were in bottom two tiles of the map, Beach West and Beach Central. I've also seen a few in the swamp area though I forget which specific location. The great thing is even if they notice you, you can still outrun them. You can find black hares on the beach too, I've usually found those close to water. The orchard, south of the sacred temple, is a good spot for bluejays and cardinals. I saw a red dragonfly, but sadly it fled the map before I could catch it. :^( Well i have also seen turtles in the swamp borders and even in the highland lake. i have also seen catfish in that lake too.
