Almost sold my switch, held out at the last minute seeing a new Cattails game which I've been binging on the last few weeks. Fantastic upgrade to the format from the first game, which had a lot of potential but fell a little flat in places.
My biggest complaint is the GUI system - especially with maxed out health, the GUI is so big it takes up an inordinate amount of space on screen. When a message pops up in the corner, it seems like a quarter of the screen is GUI, covering up the things I want to see. I've accidentally run into so many animals hidden behind the GUI.
So some suggestions:
1) Allow the player to change the size of each GUI component, such as health, hunger, map, notifications, and time display.
2) Allow the player to change the position of each GUI component.
3) Allow the player to set transparency on GUI components.
3b) Extra: allow the player to set transparency individually on GUI information vs. GUI background, so a player can have, for example, a hearts display without any visible background.
Thanks for the fantastic game! I have other ideas I'd like to suggest, but as far as QoL goes, the fixed GUI is my biggest complaint.

Hi! Thanks for your feedback. Are you playing handheld or in docked mode? In docked mode, much of this problem can be alleviated from Settings -> Video -> set GUI resolution to "pixel-perfect". On handheld this is currently not possible unfortunately.

Hey, that does help. Shame the minimap shrinks with it, I thought that was well placed.
I swear I had gone through all the settings, I managed to miss that one page.
Thanks for the reply!
