Hey Everyone! Ive got a few questions related to wildwood story, That i thought the community would wanna answer for fun.
This first question is optional but, Im curious what happens after you bought the Founders edition pre-order, did the alpha access get emailed to you or something? Im just asking this, because im looking for what happens if you buy it, since im debating getting it.
Second question for yall! Which cat did you all Immeadiately notice and took a liking to? For me, its between Buttercup, talon or charlotte.. as they all were really putting up my interest!
Third question for everyone, How are you enjoying the alpha access? or if you dont have the alpha access, How are you enjoying The Sneak peeks and other things?
Fourth question, So i can debate buying the founders edition, Those of you who have it, Is it worth it?

2. Glimmer... as a naked cat owner I was happy to see one in game, she's also just amazing overall <3
3. Alpha is great! I'm excited to see what's to come!

Why not? Also good to hear what others have to say.
1. No idea. I got Alpha from kickstarter. 2. Oh, Buttercup was the first one that really fell on my radar (that wasn't from Cattails 1), though Charlotte also is on of the ones that got my attention from day one. Includes Cattails 1 veterans, Jag and Krampy as well. Of them, the first one I married was Krampy and they are such an absolute sweetheart. Though they do come with an ominous warning... Still wondering about that one. 3. I've been enjoying Alpha. The game is already enjoyable and leaves me excited for when we get more from future updates. Kittens, at least 3 more NPCs, more map, and who knows what else.

For the first question, if you backed the game on Kickstarter it should be in your Kickstarter messages. That's how I got mine. But I think late-backers will get an email instead. You'll get a code for the game that you type into Steam - there are instructions on how to do it included.
I think Bob caught my eye first, followed by Champ. But I also love Krampy and Jag just because I liked them in the first game. Getting to know the other cats is fun though, and I've developed a real soft spot for Fliss and Buttercup.
For the third question, I'm enjoying it immensely! It's a bit bare bones at the moment just because there's no story, and the task board isn't in yet, so you kind of have to just explore and make your own fun. There's lots of characters to interact with, it's fun to mine and hunt and play festival games, and the coat creator is awesome! The game also looks and runs great, with very few bugs. I've also been having a lot of fun experimenting with modding the game now that that's been implemented.
Whether or not it's worth it is really up to you. I considered it worth it because I enjoyed the first, and wanted to see the Kickstarter succeed. I really like getting to play games as they develop, so paying a little extra for that privilege is worth it to me, especially knowing it's a game I will enjoy for a long time to come. There's a lot of fun in looking forward to new updates, and playing with them and looking for bugs when they release. I have encountered other game alphas that were just not fun to play, but Wildwood Story isn't one of them. There's a lot to mess around with. So it all depends on what you're looking for out of the game. If you like seeing games develop and getting to test new features, maybe it's worth it for you, but if you just want the full game right away or features that will be coming much later, maybe wait and see.
Right now you can hunt, collect various items, make friends with and date and marry other characters, there's one mine to explore, daily voidlings battles, a few Powerpaws to collect, seasons with festivals to participate in, decorating your den, and the Coat Creator. Plus, the general map to explore, the day/night cycle, the weather effects and lovely music which all create a nice atmosphere. There's also the temple with all the backer statues, and the backer credits. The September patch implemented support for community content, and I believe a larger update is planned for October.

I got the founder edition, a code was emailed to me to redeem on Steam.
Buttercup was the one I noticed first because she's a tortie and painfully shy, but then Charlotte caught my eye because if their attitude (which is awesome).
Loving it but waiting for more!
Yep, but it's mainly just hunting, buying, and exploring. No use for XP yet, or daily quest, so kinda of boring (but in a good way!)
