The Moonlit Sakuras never lose their magic...
You trekked tiredly through the tall mountains, desperately searching for someone, something. You heard it at first as a small whisper but the near you drew, the louder it became. Suddenly there was a small field where many Kitsunes they were gathered, a large cluster of them, they all seemed focused on one thing, a dead boar lying in the center of the circle they had congregated in. A lean, elegant female with a soft brown pelt and nine tails was leading a chant, low and ominous, your gaze studied the female leading the chant, she clearly held a high status among the group and it made you a bit anxious. As the chant continued you found yourself listening, yet you suddenly stopped dead in your tracks, a male had locked gazes with you, you panicked. When you finally turned and started to flee it was too late, he had slipped away from the group and was now right at your heel, the chant followed you as you sprinted away. Without warning he nipped your heel and you yelped, he quickened his pace. Your frame lurched sideways and you lost balance, as you toppled over you felt his weight atop you, he kept you down until you ceased your struggles.
"Who are you?" You stuttered, "W-who are they?"
The male answered with a gruff voice "I'm Shiro, member of the Eienno Tribe, and you nearly interrupted our offering to the gods. Now, who are you?"
"I'm (insert name here)." You replied. “Who is that female?”
“Her name is Monsūn, the Ridā of our Tribe. Now, I suggest you run. We do not take intruders lightly. Unless you want Monūn to see you.”
You decided to see Monsūn, and Shiro led the way back to the clearing where the group was just beginning to disperse. He went over to Monsūn, he dipped his head respectfully and shared a few hushed words with her as he left with the other Kitsunes.
"You must be (insert name here). What brings you to interrupt our offering ritual?" She asked blankly, her deep blue eyes staring into yours.
”I didn’t mean to t-trespass.” You said.
”Since you have intruded on our lands, you should be promptly punished and made prisoner,” She started. “But, would you like to perhaps... join us?”
”Y-yes, I would like that.” You replied
”Alright. Work hard, obey my orders, and you are welcome in my tribe.”
“Welcome to the Eienno Tribe, newcomer.”
