A bug with study prey active skill

I was playing Cattails. I saw some fish in sea. Im not very good at hunting fish so i used study prey skill(it makes hunting easier). I used the skill. The skill didnt show on fish. But on other animals it worked normally. This bug also happens when hunting fish in river. I took a screenshot.
