I completely agree with you. Like, at first I like them, then the there was the butterfly event, and then there was when they were bullying Bob and Buttercup.. like, I like them, but I don’t like them, and I kind wish there was a way to kick them out of my colony

Yeah. In one of my saves I put Charlotte's den right behind of I believe Talon's den so they would get a mouthful of rock whenever they stepped outside XD When they did the "staring blankly at nothing" line it made it all the funnier. Heh I'm mean.

I like Charlotte. Don't get me wrong, they are not friendly and not nice. Not a good person that would doubtless be endlessly irritating to meet and deal with in reality. But I like them as a character. I think the best way of describing it is this: Charlotte is an opinionated and judgmental character who strongly values independence, honesty, and identity. They refuse to accept advice, probably frequently break rules, and hate being told what to do. Even the idea of responsibility is repugnant to them, probably because they view it as just more rules wearing a fancy bow. All of this, in their eyes, infringes on their independence and thus who they are. Similarly, they dislike others putting up façades. That would mean lying about who you are for the sake of someone else. Of course, that would also mean Charlotte is a more than a bit hypocritical, as they have no qualms telling someone else what to do if Charlotte believes they are putting up a façade and/or lying to themself. For example, telling off Buttercup for coming to Bob's defense despite their dislike of interacting with others or telling you off for speaking to them despite your probable dislike of Charlotte. Something important to note here is that Charlotte is judgmental. They see what they believe to be true and refuse to doubt themself or be told wrong. They even get annoyed when told they are wrong and become upset when proven so (they believe themself to be a good hunter- and they are- but get upset when they fail, as it somewhat proves them wrong). On top of all that, they have a very pessimistic view on the world and see things through those lens. Meaning, when they insult Bob's friendliness, they very well might have thought they were being honest. That Bob really isn't so unrelentingly happy and content, but is putting up a front for everyone else.
So, yeah. I like how Charlotte is written, even if they are quite cruel and unfriendly.

Yeah, I get that, and that’s what I was trying to say. I would absolutely hate them in real life and yet I kind of like them at the same time? I dint know

I agree; Charlotte is written very well, even if they're rude.

I have mixed feelings for them leaning towards bad, is how I would explain them, I guess. Anyways, uh, it’s the 4th of July! So, happy 4th of July to any Americans. And to the British- we kicked yours BUTTS! Kind of.

I haven’t been able to find the other event for Lainey and Spark in West Central. I got the golden mouse and Spark being responsible ones, though

Apparently, dating events are also counted separately from standard events, as you can have both in one day. I found this out after getting Alabaster and Fliss's 1st event a few minutes after the Rosemary Gossip event. Just to test, I immediately ran to Festival Plaza, and lo and behold, Bob and Buttercup's 1st event triggered (as did literally every other 1st dating event, since I happened to be able to do them). In other words, it appears the "one event per day" rule does not apply to intro and dating event.
