What kind of pets do you all have? I mentioned a few in my introduction post, but I'll talk about them a bit more!!
First off, we have my two dogs, Crowley and Pepsi! Crowley is a border collie/husky mix. He's a good boy, if a bit anxious. He knows sit, down, get up, spin, touch, shake, and kennel. Then Pepsi is our pug/shih-tzu mix! She knows... sit and kennel. She has a harder time with commands. She's super sweet but very demanding for snuggles.
Then there's our cat! His name is Mycroft, from Sherlock Holmes. He's a flame-point cat, which looks like a Siamese cat but with orange, stripey points and a white base instead! He's very active and playful, as he's only around four months old. He loves to purr and meow and purr and meow....
We also have three snakes! Their names are Beetle, Wingnut, and Valentine. We've had Wingnut the longest - he's a pastel-fire morph ball python. He's a bit moody for a ball python but he's not actually bitey! He just likes to pretend he would be. He's a pretty boy and loves to try to be in couch cushions. Then there's Beetle, he's a standard Kenyan sand boa (which is tiny, by the way!) He's a bit feisty himself, especially when he's hungry! The way he moves is so fun, it's not like a normal snake because he's a digger. He noses into your finger cracks and just... worms around. Our third snake is Valentine! He's a corn snake, but we aren't really sure what morph? We can't find anything like it online and neither of us has seen it before. He's white with a pinkish-red pattern; he's not albino or leucistic, though. He's a very sweet boy, never hissed or strike-posed or anything, though he's very fast! He's our quickest eater, he can down his meals in less than a minute. Our other snakes take a bit longer.
We have two rats, too! Their names are Stella and Dipper, two girls. Back when we lived in a bigger apartment we had LOTS of rats, our cage was the size of a refrigerator! But now we just have our two ladies. They're both blues, but Stella has white on her chest and black eyes, while Dipper is a full blue with red eyes. They're super sweet and love to give kisses and run around outside when we take them out. When we had lots of rats, we'd take a big lot of them to the park and let them run about.
Lastly, we have an ocellated skink! He's our newest addition and such a cutie. He's also super chill and sweet for a skink. Skinks move so funny, they're like snakes with tiny, seemingly useless legs. His name is Lathos!
Tell me about your pets! I love animals and I love hearing about people's critters!
