How to actually finish a task?

I'm sorry if I sound so stupid,
but I have been trying to finish this task that I accepted on the board on the first day of the game,
it asked me to hunt 10 prey -- which I understand as anything (such as frogs, rabbits, mouse, goose)
and I hunted all of them its 23.55 in game time.. but when I talk with the board again it only says "You accepted this task"
I'm like umm.. hello? how can I finish it cause I have 10 prey in my inventory @@

I googled it and find nothing.. I'm so confused and a bit frustrated..

You can check to see if the task actually got finished yet or not by viewing the map. If the task is complete, it'll indicate that at the bottom of it. If not, it'll tell you how many you still need to finish the task.

Did you actually hunt all 10 of them after accepting the task or did you get them from storage bins/your den?

Go to your map and then down at the bottom it will say what you have left or what you need to do but if that is not the problem im srry

I actually hunted them..
It was my first day in the game as well so I don't have any storage nor anything yet actually..
Thank you I didn't know I can check on the map for that,
I managed to finished it by hunting one more prey..
I guess either I miss count or one of the thing I hunt doesn't count @@??
